The Art-Fabrik Hotel was built up only a few years ago from the historical and landmarked house of the family Friedrich Engels, patronized by the Bethe foundation.
Our 140 rooms are all very spacious and comfortably equipped. As all rooms are individually designed, guests have the possibility to choose from at least 3 rooms.
We provide 12 conference rooms with capacity for up to 650 people.

The dream has a name: AMICAL Hotel.
The former Vorwerk office and administrative building was prevented from decay, to create a modern hotel with 4 floors and an area of 7000m.
The soft-opening was an important step, but the construction work continues. Further floors will be renovated after the official opening. The adjacent halls will be changed into a meeting centre with restaurant and event catering.
