"We enjoyed our stay because it is a beautiful hotel and city, but we found the staff rather surly and in fact they took a commission for organising tickets to the Alhambra and then gave us the wrong information which resulted in us having a very frustrating day and having to organise our own tickets on another day and pay again privately. Our bathroom was very smelly with blocked drains which was not rectified despite complaints. Staff were unwelcoming." - Anonymous
"Good location near the old town and at the foot of the hill below the Alhambra. Staff was polite and helpful to inquiries. We did not have a car, but driving up to the hotel would be very difficult and we don't recommend it. Breakfast was simple but good. The hotel is in a charming old building but some of the furnishings were not quite high quality. I would rate it a little high priced for the quality of the room." - Daniel Mayadas

This charming small hotel overlooking the Alhambra and close to Plaza Nueva, with its fascinating interior Patio, has been recommended in various guides including "Small Hotels with Charm" (Pequeños Hoteles con Encanto).
Its outstanding Patio is beautifully decorated with paintings, a fountain, columns, balustrades, ornamental tiles and in particular the renaissance paintings conferred to Alejandro Mayner and Giulio Romano, disciples of Rafael, who came to Granada in 1520 to paint the “Peinador de la Reina” in the Alhambra and also the Palacio de Santa Inés.
It has two small mudejar buildings that were built in the first third of the XVIth century.The Alhambra Hall of the Palace of Santa Inés offers its guests the exclusive enjoyment of an authentic Mudéjar panelled roof built in 1512.
From the hotels Galleries its guests can contemplate the spectacular panoramic views of the Alhambre day or night.
The hotel is situated in the old Albayzín, a neighbourhood that has been declared by the UNESCO as "Inheritance of Mankind". |

We recommend to park the car in a public car park Neptuno (aprox. EUR 12 a day) located directly next to the Exit 129 (Recogidas Centro) and take a taxi to the Hotel due to the difference of the price of the car parks. The closest one costs EUR 20 a day.
We do however offer valet parking between 10:00 and 18:00 if you choose to leave your car in the closest more expensive car park.
