"Good value for a 3 star hotel and conveniently located" - Mark Harrison
"I enjoyed this hotel. It has the guest house feel I prefer. The room was large enough and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff quite friendly. It is not located right in the center, but it is a 15 minute walk to the Waverly train station. It is in a quiet neighborhood." - Brian McCartney
"This is a simple hotel with friendly personnel. Breakfast consists of bread and cheese or sliced meat, coffee or tea. The tables in the breakfast room were rather small.
In our room the TV had no remote control.
It is just a 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The hotel is very near the Waverley Station and easy to find.
All in all a fine hotel for exploring the city." - Marcel Sleijster
"The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast served was of a good quality and overall I think our stay was very enjoyable. The only drawbacks were that the TV in our room did not work and needed to be hooked up which could not be done until after we were due to leave. However, we had so much to do in Edinburgh in the time we were there, we didn't really miss this normal luxury!" - Catherine Brookfield
