"I enjoyed this hotel. It has the guest house feel I prefer. The room was large enough and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the staff quite friendly. It is not located right in the center, but it is a 15 minute walk to the Waverly train station. It is in a quiet neighborhood." - Brian McCartney

"This is a simple hotel with friendly personnel. Breakfast consists of bread and cheese or sliced meat, coffee or tea. The tables in the breakfast room were rather small. In our room the TV had no remote control. It is just a 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The hotel is very near the Waverley Station and easy to find. 1 out of the station, turn left onto Haymarket Terrace Road
2 After 50 metres turn left into Coates Gardens.

Route from Edinburgh Airport -
1. Depart on Jublee Road for 600 metres
2. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Eastfield Road for 100 metres
3. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the Eastfield Road for 800 metres
4. Bear left onto Slip Road for 300 metres
5. Continue Straight ahead onto A8 for 3.9 kilometres
6. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A8 Saint John's Road for 4.6 kilometres.
7. Turn left onto Coates Gardens
