The Relais Alla Corte del Sole-at the sun’s court- is located near Lake Trasimeno, facing Cortona, and at the border of the Sienese territory of Montepulciano. So you may enjoy the view of one of the most evocative lakes in Italy, while at the same time being very close to some of the most important cities in Tuscany for art, monuments, and landscapes: Cortona, Montepulciano, and Siena. The Relais, with its original conformation, can accomodate up to 35 guests, with 18 rooms of various kinds: Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite, and Suite. Each room is equipped with every available comfort and is furnished with period furniture: here and there you can find precious details like a beautiful painting, a canopied bed, fine drapery and soft fabrics, small armchairs and dressing tables. |

To get to the Relais coming from either Milan or Rome:Take the A1 Autostrada and get off at the Valdichiana exit n. 28; immediately turn right and take the ‘Superstrada’ towards Perugia. At the second exit for Cortona, turn left and follow the indications for Montepulciano. Upon arrival at the fork of Pozzuolo-Petrignano, turn left and go through the town of Petrignano, and a short time after on the left you will find the Relais.
