"We (my husband and son) just loved the location and the friendliness of the area. The apartment was so large from the bathroom, kitchen and Living room. Ocean front with the waves beating against the shore how wonderful that was. Once we learned the area we found out we were in the right place. To think if were in cairns where the tide goes out and it is just mud or Port Douglas where many hotels can't even see the water. How disapointing that would be........ Not at Roydon Beachfront it was just great!! We would stay there over and over again. Also I told a Travel Agent about the location and she wrote everything down. The rating for 'service' is based on the fact that there was little or no contact with the apartment manager during our stay. The contact that we did have was very polite and friendly and the manager did 'upgrade' us to a beach front unit which was very much appreciated.
