"The hotel is located on one of the worst streets we saw at our visit (drug addicts, whores etc.). Unfortunally we chose the direct line when walking towards Acropolis (app. ½ hour), so our first impression of Athens was not so good.
Choose some of the other roads and Athens fast shows itself from a much better side with Tavernas, Kiosks, Shops etc. around.
The Hotel itself had some basic rooms – we ordered a double but had twin beds. There were quite a few mosquitoes around every night(annoying). There where however a nice fridge. The breakfast was very basic, but ok for a few days." - Alice Majbritt Jensen

Hotel Amaryllis INN is a two stars superior hotel and our second hotel of the Amaryllis group of hotels. Conveniently located on a quite road at the commercial center of Athens with easy access to many places of great interest, constitutes an ideal base for exploring the city.
Amaryllis INN disposes 60 very large rooms (doubles, triples and 4-bed rooms), including 7 junior suites, large enough for families of 5. All rooms are with large bathrooms with full bathtubs, air-conditioning with individual control, mini refrigerator, TV, direct dial phone, balcony. Rooms on upper floors have a panoramic view of Athens.
The reception is very modern with beautiful colors and on the first floor there is a lounge that measures 300 square meters, which consists of a luxurious bar, a comfortable seating room with TV and the breakfast room buffet type with seating for 120 guests and a free left-luggage room. The hotel also provide car rental desk facilities, baggage hold, wheelchair accessible elevator, 24 h front desk, wake up calls, luggage room and we also cooperate with a private parking for the safety of your car.
In a small distance from the hotel are Omonia Sq. (underground station), the Athens Archaeological Museum, the National Theater, the main Railway Station and Syntagma Sq. (Parliament). Very next to the hotel is a close public paying garage.

We kindly inform you that from the new airport you can take a taxi (the cost is around 35 Euro) direct to our hotel or you can take the subway and you get off at Omonia station.
Our hotel is located next to Omonia square, from this place you take Pireos street, third on left is Menandrou street, we are at no 25.
