"Pick this hotel if your on a tight budget! Advantage. Its only a block from the SD trolley service & then 15/20 mins to San Ysidro for Tijuana or 20 mins to the center of SD. The staff are great & I score them as the best feature of the Bay Breeze. As far as the rooms are concerned, basic is too grand a description! No coffee either in the room or in reception. "I like it just because it is very close to the Trolley station which can take you all the way to downtown and old town San Diego. So I just parked my car at the motel and walked to the station. The Rate is pretty high if you just do walk-in. Thanks for this website providing me a great discount!" - Anonymous
"There are many places nearby for example 7-eleven is next to the hotel also many restaurants are in the same street. If you are going to sea world or the beach it is like a 15 min drive. The Troley is across the street if you are going across the border. The service was good, the hotel was okay for the price, there were stains in the towels, and on the carpet, but overall if you are just going to sleep there it is okay." - Anonymous
