"The hotel is new, and comes with an LCD TV in the room, which is a nice touch. The room size is very small, comparable to the hotel rooms in Hong Kong. Location is suprisingly good once you know your way around the city. Generally the hotel prices in Singapore are felt to be overpriced. Taking all factors into consideration, I would not mind staying at this hotel again in future." - Anonymous

On the down side the room is very small and the internet did not work.

Hotel 81 Selegie is a 8 storey partly conserved building with 81 nicely appointed rooms at a central location.
A short walking distance from Sim Lim Square (Electronic and Computer Mall), Singapore National Library, Suntec City (Shopping, cinema complex and Convention hall), Raffles City (Shopping Mall).
Catch performances by local and international acts at the Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay, which is located a mere 20-25 minutes away on foot. Fort Canning Park plays host to cultural and musical events throughout the year. And the shopping hubs of Orchard Road, City Hall, Bugis Junction and Marina Square are also in close proximity.
There are many reputable night spots with 10 minutes taxi ride, such as Mohammed Sultan stretch, Boat Quay and Clark Quay. |
