"Very stylish, sensitively renovated, immaculate, boutique hotel with superb views across the bay to Vesuvius. Perfect for people who want a refuge to return to after a hard day's sightseeing. We just about coped with relying on public transport (and extra help from the very hospitable and friendly staff) but we would recommend hiring a car/bike to get around, as the hotel is not central and the 2km walk to the local train station is literally along the road edge and a bit unnerving! Torre Barbara is a small hotel born of an ancient palace of bourgeois order '800, renovated in 2005 in modern style. Located in Vico Equense within the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfitan Coast offers from the rooms and from the terrace an exclusive breathtaking view facing the volcano Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples.
The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable with the only aim to make the guests feel as at home.
All rooms are airconditioned, comfortable, with telephone, internet access, satellite TV, mini bar and safe. |

By car: From the A3 Napoli-Salerno highway, exit Castellammare di Stabia, after Vico Equense continue in Sorrento direction from the bridge of Seiano train station 2 Km on the left there is Torre Barbara.
By train:From Naples central station (Piazza Garibaldi) take The Circumvesuviana line to Sorrento get off in Seiano and by the public bus you arrive in front of Palazzo Torre Barbara.
By air: From Capodichino airport by bus or by taxi reach Naples central train station (Piazza Garibaldi) and take the train to Seiano. |
