"Very dowdy. Small dare I say pokey room that hadn't been refurbished form many years! I realise that at a lower price in the city centre you cannot have Claridges, however this was not good. It does have this in common with at least one other hotel I have stayed at in Princes street at considerably more expense - the Caladonian Hilton!

"The location was great! Could see all of the city sights out of our window, including Edinburgh Castle! Right across from the train station, also. The staff, especially Ailsa and Bartender Dave, were extra friendly and helpful. Loved the place and would recommend it and stay there again.
