Only downsides are, perhaps not as many sunbeds around the pool as there are people wanting to use them and you have to walk into a bush to turn on the spa!

"Lovely new, very clean accommodation; we found the location excellent for our needs, and the pool and tranquility were the highlights. Helpful staff and excellent laundry facilities. Overall we were very pleased with our choice, and would stay here again, though perhaps in one of the bigger apartments, as they appear to offer a more useable balcony, and we assume more space to manouvre in the kitchen. The Meridian at Port Douglas is a contemporary boutique resort that offers luxury apartments for couples in a selection of self catered studios and one bedroom apartments.
Ideal for couples requiring a peaceful and relaxing getaway. (Children under 15 years are not catered for.)
The central feature is the heated (reverse cycle) lagoon style pool with pool decks extending from the superior apartments and studios
There is also an outdoor BBQ entertaining area and an 8 person Jacuzzi/spa set amongst the tropical gardens.
Superior ground level apartments feature direct access to the temperature controlled heated swimming pool from private timber decks while superior higher level apartments have Jacuzzis /Hot Tubs on spacious balconies.
Superior studios have direct pool access to the heated lagoon style pool or have a Jacuzzi in a private courtyard.
Located with walking distance to the 3 icons of Port Douglas, 50 meters to main street, Macrossan St, 200 meters to famous 4 Mile Beach and 400 meters to the Marina Mirage. |
