"Staff were very helpful and courteous." - Brian TAYLOR
"The hotel is located right on top of a subway station. So it is convenient to travel. The room was nice, small (but good condition) and better than my expectation (after having read a lot about hotel room in Japan). Osaka Castle is within 10-15 min relaxing walk." - Surayos Karnchanapa
"The hotel is located in a very nice part of Osaka. the staff are friendly and courteous (like most Japanese). The hotel adjoins a great 8 storey department store with a walkway between the hotel and department store. The hotel features terrific views over Osaka." - Kenneth McKay
"The hotel was easy to get to from Kyoto - straight down the Keihan line to Temmabashi station, and it's right on top. The hotel is right next to a department store, 3 food courts, the Aquabus, and a 5min walk to Osaka Castle. The hotel is in the government area so there isn't a lot to do close by, but with 2 train lines downstairs, the subway system was a breeze to get us around.
One drawback was the tiny double room which really didn't leave enough room for a dead cat to swing itself. We stayed there for the first two nights, then transferred to a twin room with river views. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The hotel does need a reno to freshen up the rooms (& remove the tobacco smell), but is pretty good for the price.
Breakfasts were great at $9AUD each and include a full buffet breakfast. Internet is free in your room and is great for when you've had enough of Japanese TV. The front counter staff speak limited English, but were very courteous and tried their best to answer our queries." - Matthew Barwick
