"Hotel promised a jacuzzi on the roof but this was not working. The Gym did not exist- it had not been built yet. The first room we were shown smelled of smoke even though it was on a non-smoking floor. The internet did not work in the room- only worked if we held our laptop out over the balcony. They did agree to give us breakfast in return for having no gym or jacuzzi or internet but I would not stay here again if I needed internet access for business." - Anonymous

Hotel del Carmen it’s a newly opened hotel with its four levels still maintains the original façade according to the buildings history.
It’s a modern, cosy and functional hotel all in one.
Located in Valencia’s old part of town, called El Carmen, is two minutes away from the cathedral and the miquelete, five minutes from the Central Market, the Silk Market, the financial district and the most important commercial area.
It’s also placed within the cultural environment since is near the IVAM (Valencian Institute of Modern Arts), the San Pio V (Museum of Modern Arts), the Benlliure House Museum, etc….
The hotel is directly placed in front of the river Turia, offering a beautiful sight from its terrace, being its antique river bed one of the reunion spots for sportsmen, such as runners, cyclists and walkers. It’s also became the spot that unites the future Valencia’s zoo together with the City of Arts and Science, the Opera Palace and is also next to the harbour and the America’s world cup.
