"This hotel is located near many shops and a 3 minute cab ride to the Acropolis. The staff is fluent in English and very helpful. The room was like in any 4 star hotel in the world: spacious and clean, everything worked in the room. After spending 3 nights at the Far Out Village, Ios which was very basic and dirty for the same price, I was pleasantly surprised with the Grecotel Omonia Grand Hotel. "American women are very accustomed to wash cloths. We have never found one in a European Hotel. Might be a nice inexpensive added feature for hotels such as the Grecotel.
The service was wonderful and the accomodations for our group (3 adults, 3 children) were fantastic. We had adjoining rooms, with the exact bed combinations we requested. Rarely able to get such wonderful arrangements anywhere.

Train Station Larissis Station (1.5 km)
By Metro: take Line 2 (Sepolia –Dafni) to Station Omonia.
Direction from the Airport to Hotel (40 km)
By bus & metro: Take bus Express E95 just outside the airport all the way to Syntagma square. Take metro line 2 (Dafni – Sepolia) and get off at Omonia station.
By car: Exit the airport from the south gate and take Attiki Odos until you meet Leoforos Marathonos where you turn left. This avenue changes name to Leoforos Mesogeion and then to Leoforos Vassilisis Sofias that brings you to Syntagma Square. Turn right to Panepistimiou Street and drive straight ahead to Omonia Square.
