"What a place . Very different in look , feel and location to anything you will find in the Sydney city area - with the buildings based on the quarantine station "design". No luxury fittings and lobby etc. but it is a wonderful experience with THE best views of Sydney Harbour from the City landscape across to Manly - startling .
The room was small but decorated in a comfortable style . Good bed and acceptable bathroom . I had booked a "harbour view" room and technically I could not see the water from the room but just a couple of steps outside to the fabulous view as described above .
On the negative -
1.no airconditioning which was not a problem last week but could be an issue mid-summer .
2.limited catering - I couldn't get coffee when arriving late morning .
3. you need a car - although there is a limited shuttle service , you are in a location a fair distance from any public transport or taxis . Overall I would highly recommend it for a real and different Sydney experience ." - Stephen Harris

Drive up Darley Road, past Manly Hosptial and through the sandstone archway. Follow this road (North Head Scenic Drive) to a roundabout and turn right at the roundabout where you will see the Entrance sign to Q Station. |
