"Phone in room did not work, which meant we had to travel down 4 flights to use a public phone.
Room was very clean everyday, clean towels provided etc.
Location not too bad

"Dirty: dusty and stuffy corridors; cramped rooms with stained blankets; filthy bathrooms.
Facilities: none.
Service: I will only mention that the maid came to do my room and left the door open... for two days in a row...
The only upsides: the location - upper west side, at the end of a cul-de-sac - which is very nice; and the price, which - I'm told - is quite cheap for NYC." - Alberto Cerlini
