1551 Palermo Boutique Hotel Buenos Aires

Nice hotel, located in one of the better parts of Buenos Aires, close to lots of restaurants, bars, shopping and key sites. The room I stayed in was a bit cold because it was below ground level and had a shared bathroom. It was good value for money, but was quite noisy with street noise and the pipework from the building... if your looking for somewhere to stay, here is fine, but take one of the better rooms.

A nice place, with a lobby that lends itself to comfortable lounging. It is also wifi, and there is a large kitchen there, I am not sure if I had access to it, it looked like anyone could use it.

The "hip hop" suite is actually a twin room with a shared bathroom. While the other suites might be excellent, I would certainly not recommend one of the downstairs rooms which share a common, and dated, bathroom. The front room is affected by noise from the street (through the floor level window) while the back room is next to some water tank or machinery. Ear plugs recommended for both. The rooms & bathroom weren't very clean - considerable visible dust under the bed, though visible surfaces seemed ok; bathroom had seen better and cleaner days (floor around rear of toilet could have done with some bleach) and grease stains on some of the bed covers. Receptionist/staff person was very helpful, and the breakfast was quite good - pastries and freshly squeezed Orange juice. I wouldn't choose to stay in the cheaper rooms again, and for about the same price would probably select somewhere more plain and simple.

I must admit that when approaching the address i thought to myself what have I gotten into but after settling into my comfortable room my attitude soon changed.The decor is different and delightful,the room was comfortable and I must admit for the price I paid it was certainly worth my money.And the staff are absolutely fantastic

A nice clean, safe hotel. Brilliant decor and a good location, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Palermo's shops and restaurants. Would happily stay there again.

Plus for the swimmingpool and nice breakfast.

Very nice suites!

I paid $50 a night for my room. If I had paid more I wouldn't have felt good. Positives: The lobby area is beautiful and a great place to relax, the bed was comfortable, good location for exploring Palermo, spacious room, reasonably quiet. Negatives: room was below ground with small window near ceiling that people often walked past so couldn't open, room was dark, very small TV with no remote control, lock on door seemed really weak and was difficult to use. Overall it was fine for the price, but it would have driven me crazy if I stayed more than 2 nights!

This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. It is stunningly stylish and fun at the same time. The service and friendliness is first rate. Our room was fantastic and a joy to stay in. The hotel is peaceful and quiet in a frenetic and noisy city. Perfect for a romantic getaway or special occaission. The hotel will not fail to impress. I did not see all of the rooms and some are in the basement. but the master suite is opulent and the doors room is beautiful and the garden room was perfect. lots of great restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood and the hotel is central only 15 Pesos from the centre of town. The front door looks like a house door. the signage is very discreet. I will definately return if I am back in BA again

Hotel is very stylish and friendly. Deceptively run down on the outside, butb plush and modern small boutique hotel inside. And very, very friendly. A delightful alterntive to the overstuffed impersonal global chain hotels. Chic, stylish and comfortable.

A really lovely hotel. Beautiful modern decor. Very simple rooms but has everything you need - though if you are not booking the adjoining rooms with friends / family you may not want to share a bathroom with strangers. Fantastic breakfast and kitchen, lovely pool. A great place.
