1 Med Hotel Nice

Good for what you pay

room was a bit small, so was the bathroom, but room and bathroom were very clean and tidy, would not leave valubales in the room cause keyboard at reception was easily accesable. Friendly staff, spoke some English.

Staff were very helpful (arranged a breakfast at 4:30am for Ironman Nice Competitors) Breakfast was simple, and not large, coffee was from a machine so was not the best. Air Conditioning was simple but effective and very welcome. Bathroom was in need of a major renovation, seals around tiles were worn and dirty, walls had paint flaking off and in some places there were holes!

There are still some renovations beeing done, but in general,kind and helpful personal and very good location, 100m from the sea-side and close to the center of town. Excellent quality/price comparison.

I cannot fault the friendly staff. My room was small but full of light. I had everything I needed. Lack of lift unfortunate unless you pack light, I didn't. Location is superb with beach, buses, trains and eateries close at hand as well as tourist information office. This is a high end location at a low end price.

We arrived quite late to the hotel and I was worried that the desk would be closed in the evening. My phone also had broke and so I could not call them. But it was great to realise that they manned the desk 24 hours a day. Our room was spacious and we had a big pile of towels waiting for us too. I found the shower a little small but it was fine. There wasn't any views with the room, but we weren't expected to stay in them as the beach was only 50m away! Parking was difficult but there was a indoor car park towards the beach costing us 27 euros per day. Parking on the street was always busy and the cars were never in good shape. The staff spoke great english and were hlpful in tips about the area. I recommend this hotel for the location, service and price!

The hotel and the rooms were alright considering the cheap rate. The room and bathroom were clean but very basic (felt almost like a youth hostel). The ceiling looked scary (looked like it might fall down on me when I sleep). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic, but considering it was free I had no complaint! The location was not bad. The area was very safe and convenient.

I had a really pleasant stay at 1 med hotel ,lovely staff working there i will probably have another stay backthere in the futur ! sincerely yours Bertrand, Suss.

The best value for money, the best location and the friendliest service you're likely to get in Nice.

I was very happy with this hotel. Friendly staff, clean well-equipped rooms and the best breakfast I've seen in this price range. The only small criticism is that the staff don't speak much English. I'd recommend this.

Myself and my mother stayed in med hotel for 5 days and nights.We really enjoyed our stay and alot of that was because of where we were staying.We were ideally located, got excellent value for money,had excellent service and breakfast was delicious.The people were friendly and answered any questions that we had.We will definately return to Nice and most definately br staying in 1 Med hotel!

This is a 2 star hotel, in the process of rennovation. The staff is pleasent and helpful

Very handy location - 10 min walk to the Gare SNCF, 15 mins to the main bus station, and around the corner from the beach. Its location in the tourist strip of Nice is handy for restaurants and the local supermarket. A little walk away from the Old Town.
