5 Hotel & Suites Downtown Calgary

Everything was very good. The rooms are a little on the old side, and could use a face lift, but the price was right, the amenities were very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, and the online reservation was very efficient.

This hotel is quite good value for the price. However, they were a little overwhelmed by the Grey Cup numbers. They did their best.

This hotel is very central and offered a spacious room for a very cheap price. The furnishings were a bit tired but clean.

The hotel is excellent for business and family travel. Strategic location. Restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. Free internet & WIFI is always a bonus.

Five hotel and suite location is excellent in the center of town, hotel room is average but is good for family stay, I will stay again with the family

The pool is outdoor so shuts for the winter. The steam room and sauna weren't switched on so couldn't use them. The business centre was useful to surf the net and print out reservations for my continuing travels. The airport shuttle is half the price of a cab and takes about an hour, good value if you're travelling solo, but if there are 2 or more of you, get a taxi instead. I wouldn't pay full price for this hotel, but $150 is reasonable.

Excellent location. Only weak point is the breakfast.

Said there was a shuttle bus, but it wasn't available at the time that I was coming in and so cost me lots of cash to come from the airport. Ah well. On the other hand, excellent service at the restaurant - above and beyond. I'd stay there again.

Excellent location with many good restaurants within walking distance. The pool was a disappointment however - I think the word hypothermia best describes my feeling after jumping in. Apparently it is not heated and I would encourage them to consider doing this. The room layout was good and everything was perfectly clean. Room Service was very poor. When we tried to order breakfast, we were unable to reach them by phone as was the front desk. I went downstairs to the restaurant and placed my order and was asked to wait and take it up with me. Perhaps they should call it "Take Out". That being said, the staff was extremely pleasant and I could see they were terribly busy. All in all a great place to stay in a great city!

Not enough elevators for the size of hotel, staff not always as helpful as they could be

rooms were comfortable and clean! only thing missing in the suite was a bottle opener! Will deff. stay again!!!!

Very professional staff. Desk clerk went out of her way to help me find a route around the city to take in all I wanted to do. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Kitchen was very lacking. Also no a/c vent in the bedroom although the living room was cold. A little dreary overall, with updating needed. However, personnel were extremely friendly and helpful.

An adequate hotel in most respects. However breakfast was unusual and inadequate. No toast or bread included with full breakfast. Must be toast and must be two pieces and must pay $2 extra, no compromise. Management not interested.

An older hotel but had the feel of a home because of the very large size.

This hotel represented excellent value for money = the accommodation was spacious, and clean. The food in the lounge restaurant and bar was very good and competetively priced and the staff were friendly and professional. It was a simple exercise to get to various places as the hotel is situated close to the C train. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation given that it was inexpensive and would have no hesitation in booking in again if we return to Calgary.
