No parking available at hotel , was directed to 2 parking areas which I drove between for the next 30 minutes as they were both full. Got back to the hotel and booked in then went to my room. When arrived at room it was not what I had booked. The receptionist was very helpfull and arranged for the correct room. The air conditioning is third world.
Enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and polite. I will be staying there again!!!!!

Excellent location for visiting the centre of Perth. Not suited to having a car and the steps at the front of the hotel are a nuisance. Free wi-fi should be included in the rate.
Location Location Location! The hotel is in cetral of CBD so you can go and out anytime and if you tired or too much shopping bags, go back to leave or rest a bit easily. Unfortunatly shower tap was half broken but everythigng was alright considerd to what we paid. Recomended to people who is non-fussy about hotel appearance but prefer convenience.
Good location with prices a little better than typical. Hotel is older, but in decent repair, and the rooms are not large but reasonably sized. My room was a bit dated, but OK; while the bathroom had had a recent makeover: so they are keeping things up. Restaurant downstairs has an excellent deal on early dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and is a real party place on Friday night.
Entrance from street with heavy cases difficult but otherwise enjoyed stay
Location was good but hotel is in old bad shape. Worse is service . Very uninterested and not helpful at all. Terrible experience.
The room is extremely small. Carpeting has to be renewed. The furniture is well weathered ( marked, stained, varnish removed due to age ). Theview was worth 0 out of 10. Deodorant smell all over the place. Staff was very helpful and excellent.
Clean rooms, Excellent Location
We paid $104 AUD a night for a more upmarket room and it was clean ,spacious ,surrounds a bit tired however the king bed was excellant and the pillows comfortable ,had a big screen TV,Washing facilities as well on 4th floor. Bar downstairs was great. Well attended because good typical bar menu with a happy hour, Would recommend it and would stay again but would pay the extra for the up market room,
Great location in central Perth. Rooms were clean and tidy and price good. Great value for money!
Great location. Deluxe room is good size - furniture a bit old and worn and very moldy shower not particularly nice. Expensive for what you get. BEWARE the $2 fee for having drinks & meals in the bar / restaurant charged back to your room account - it is in the fine print apparently...
Offered a complimentary drink but unable to access the bar as too congested and noisy (standing room only). Same applies to having a meal at the hotel. Restaurant seemed to form part of the bar area, so on a Friday evening it was overcrowded and the level of noise extreme. The restaurant didn't even look inviting for breakfast! Parking also a problem. Had to park in location nearby which if you used your vehicle for travelling to different areas in the City, would have meant paying excessive amounts of money as you went in and out of the parking complex.
Aarons Hotel is in a great location close to shopping mall and train, bus etc. The room we had was called the "Classic room". Was very small and would not suit staying for more than a night. Price and location is what influenced us to stay.
it was close to the city which made for easy shopping.
We stay at this hotel quite often.. it is very affordable, great location and I have no complaints at all about it. If you like luxury and frills then it won't be for you, it's pretty basic.. for instance there is no mini bar... but we don't spend a lot of time in hotel rooms when we stay away.. we are out and about. Aarons has a very nice bar and a good restaurant. The bar can be noisy on a Friday or Saturday night and again this may bother some people as you can hear the noise sometimes but in the morning whe you go down for a very pleasant and great value breakfast, it is amazingly spotless and I heartily reccommend eating there. Also they have never once made an error in our booking or charges which I have experienced with some other hotels on occasions, sometimes really expensive ones!! Give it a try next time you're in Perth!! I give it a good 8/10!
Fantastic service at front desk, clean hotel and very handy to all shops etc. do not need a car if staying here. rooms a little small but all else good value would definetly stay there again
Stayed for 3 nites with tat good promo(free bottle of wine) I think it's still value for money tho room rather small bed too soft about time to chg it! Good location tho near to train station, shopping at Hays,Murray St shopping areas Not bed for short stay.:)
as with all hotels in Perth...Overpriced... just a box with a bed and just enough space to move around the bed
There is a new general manager and she seems to be taking on-board the need to upgrade the hotel and she is certainly trying - starting with the flat screen TV and freechannels. The bed linen has also been changed - and she will continue with all the rennovations slowly but it makes a huge change. The location is simply brill - loads of restaurants - shopping centre is all within walking distance. The staff are very helpful and we have just had a very good 10 day stay. Overall very pleased with the hotel and intereted in seeing how things change from now on. Excellent Sarah Wilkin www.neilwilkin.com
