Opened in February of 2001, the HOTEL AB VILADOMAT is a modern, functional establishment in the heart of Barcelona's "Eixample" neighborhood. Its staff is young and dynamic and is characterized by its clear vocation to service. Their goal is to meet your needs down to the last detail and ensure that you make the most of your stay, whether it is for business or pleasure. The HOTEL AB VILADOMAT has 81 modern and light-filled double rooms. The decoration is modern and restful colors are used, with yellow and blue tones predominating. The wooden floors and cedar furniture give the rooms a warm touch. All the rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning and heating which can be adjusted in each room. We offer 22 TV channels with parabolic antenna. We also offer an interactive pay-TV system which lets you choose from the latest movies and get information on the hotel services and the city, listen to the radio or music channels, or refer to you bill through the system's internal channel. Each room has two telephone connections, one on the night table and the other at the desk so you can easily connect your personal computer (ISDN) upon request. Getting there:The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelonas Eixample area, close to Plaza de Catalunya and very near Barcelona-Sants railway station, the main business area of the city, the Exhibition Centre and the Conference Hall. Both the airport and the citys road network are easily accessible.

We only stayed at this hotel 1 night but we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were large, clean & comfortable. The hotel location is good, not far from the train station. Staff were friendly, and rectified their mistake of giving us a twin room. However, when we asked for a WiFi password late at night, they insisted we come to the foyer to get it as it was "too hard" to read over the phone. However, we would return to this hotel & enjoyed our brief stay.

Comfortable and clean hotel, located in a walking distance (15-20 min) from the Plasa Catalunya, however not closed to metro. Romes comfortables with main facilities. Moderate but sufficient breakfast.
Clean but small rooms, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. A bit too far from the subway though.
Great hotel with excellent modern facilities, including restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for the whole month of August due to holidays which was a bit disappointing. The room was huge, with a very big balcony - excellent value for money.

This was a nice hotel, clean and in a good area. The staff was very polite and spoke very good english. As for the location, 3 metro stations were close by but we found many of the sights in walking distance. I was very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone that wants to visit barcelona.

Restaurant being renovated so facilities grade reflects this. Location is not bad but major roadworks in front of the hotel, noise was not an issue. reasonably close to sants but in hindsight i wouls stay closer to the rambles area. Overall through good value for money with helpfull staff
Reception staff excellent, helped us to sort out problems when our money was stolen - Remus even lent us some of his own money to buy a meal. Breakfast was excellent - far better than we expected. Reception staff very helpful with maps and directions. Would stay here again when visiting Barcelona.

Comfortable hotel with good location, just 20 min walking distance from Pl. Catalunya. Clean and comfortable rooms, only problem is noise as they are building underground parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast meets expectations (hamon, Cava, sufficient meal variability) Staff very friendly. Good value for money!
The hotel is fine, but it is too long a walk from the subway station, making it not a very convenient location.
Nice, clean hotel with helpful staff and free computer use. The breakfast buffet was ample and well prepared. The room was a bit small. Quiet, but longer walk to The Ramblas than described.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. About a 35 minute brisk walk into the centre of Barcelona but good bus services nearby. Easy and cheap to get to and from airport on blue bus. Staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet had a good range including cold meats fruit and pastries. A little far out of town for some but would recommend and stay there again. Supermarket and eating places nearby.

Very pleased with the hotel. Very good location 15mins walk to the centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious, well decorated and clean. Restaurant and Bar was a little disappointing decor-wise, not very inviting especially for an evening meal, but saying that the food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
