Abanico Hotel Seville

This Hotel was very nice, my problem is with the Orbitz organization. I booked and paid for 2 rooms at this hotel on-line one month before my departure and upon arrival I was told that the hotel had never received my booking from Orbitz.com. As a result the hotel only had one room left at the hotel They tried to be as accommodating as they could be and were happy to resolve the issue the next day, but I will be taking this issue to Orbitz.com. Otherwise the hotel is lovely and in a great location.

Great location, very helpful, friendly staff, very clean. Also quiet considering its a patio type building.

We had to fight for the "free breakfast". It was not pleasant at all and I felt guilty each time we went down for breakfast. I do NOT recommend this hotel. Further, the map they gave us indicated a different place for the hotel than where it actually was. Very confusing.

A great location and friendly staff. I had a room on the ground floor which was a little noisy when people walked past outside on the street, but otherwise it was comfortable. Definitely recommended for its location!

Lovely small hotel set in a wonderful location close to all the main sights. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, tidy room with good breakfast. Excellent value all round. I will be back.

The hotel was great, 5 minutes walk from the Cathederal and Alacazar, just far enough away not to be too bothered by the bells that ring from the bell tower (Giralda). The staff were friendly and helpful, and it came with the added bonus of breakfast which was continually topped up without guests having to ask. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was visiting Seville.

Excellent choice. Near to the center, very well located, with an atencious team and a very beautiful place to stay. I really enjoyed to be at Abanico.

Location is very good, ask for a quiet room, other guests complained about the noise in their rooms.

CHARMING PLACE: tHE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THE STREET IN WHICH THE HOTEL LIES: IT HAS NARROW SIDEWALKS AND WAS SOMETIMES A BIT PRECARIOUS WALKING ALONG TRYING TO AVOID CARS:

CHARMING HOTEL IN GOOD LOCATION. A BIT NOISY AND BREAKFAST ONLY VERY BASIC.

Once inside this hotel provides the atmosphere of the colonial homes with their internal patio , that is soothing to arrive to. Service and breakfast where good as expected at this rate. Although the location was central , it was not esy to access on foot since these old roads have very little or not any sidewalk, which makes the walk to the hotel a bit uncomfortable and hectic due to the traffic.

Reception area very stylish, rooms slightly small and cramped. Bathroom good. Hotel location being in small very busy street, therefore street noise could be a problem (winning local football team celebrated outside window until 3.00 am).

The hotel was cosy with beautiful architecture and near the city centre. The rooms also had good beds.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms rather dimly lit, not good for those who like to read in bed. Front rooms very noisy because of traffic in the narrow street outside. Very conveniently located in lively area with excellent choice of small bars and a short walk from cathedral and commercial centre.

Beautifully decorated and spacious room. The internet services was good but wish it can be extended to later hours. Convenient location.

The hotel is in an excellent location , walking distance to all attractions . The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast is quite unacceptable, it definitely need improvement.
