Salamanca is a new hotel from the “Abba Hotels” chain. The Abba Fonseca Hotel, a top range four star, is located in the historic heart of the city. Getting there:From Madrid, South, East and West: cross River Tormes through Sánchez Fabrés bridge; turn left to Paseo de San Vicente. Turn left along Espejo Street.

Very good value - enjoyed the spa and gym facilities. Very good location within easy walking distance of major attractions. Helpful staff. Would recommend!

Our only criticism was that used dishes were left in the corridor from room service for longer than was acceptable - 12 hours plus. The restaurant manager was extremely helpful in ensuring that our food was cooked to our exact specifications. We were disappointed not to be able to use the garage facility and wonder if it would be possible for spaces to be reserved in advance.

This is great place to stay for vacation or business. The twin room we had was very large and quiet due to it's being located on a pedestrian square with taxi/car access to hotel available. The location is very close to the Plaza Mayor, Campo de San Francisco, Cathedrals, and University of Salamanca. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of items.
