Great location with good facilities but if it's service you're after they fall short of my expectations for the price they demand. Beware of housekeeping just walking in without knocking first if you don't turn your door key to "privacy" setting! Reception service mediocre at best and didn't offer a map of resort or even where my suite was situated. However, I would stay there again as the spa suite I had was very clean and comfortable
Our holiday at the Abbey Beach Resort Busselton exceeded all our expectations, cleanliness and the service was exceptional and i would recomend this resort for any holiday maker!

Excellent place to stay, service stafff are friendly. We didn't eat there as it is a bit pricey, but overall enjoyed our stay & would stay again. The hotel was fully booked but we wouldn't have thought so as it was so quiet, which is unusual. Had the best sleep, and woke up 5 min before checkout..
The room we had was excellent and wouldn't hesitate in staying their again. But was disappointed with the qualiy of hotel food and pricing, and wouldn't eat at hotel again everything was so expensive
The room was lovely, clean and fresh. Bright and most comfortable was a bonus. The heated swimming pool was awesome and the food was delicious. Thank you cheerie and Abbey Beach. Kind Regards Ashleigh B.
A great place to stay. Slightly more expensive than nearby places but worth it for the great facilities. Well located for both Busselton and the Margaret river region.
Good sized room. Clean & good spacious facilities. However it appeared very underused & the eating facilities were generally very restricted in opening days & times. Location by the beach was nice - but it should be noted that the facility is situated well out of Busselton itself.
VERY expensive restaurant and cafe. Main courses $10 more expensive than top Perth restaurants. $48 for a main course is crazy. cafe prices are are also not affordable. So must go out to eat. I did try a desert in the restauarant and it was horrible. Had to get cafe staff to open the gym, inconvenient. No foxtel in room. Had to buy internet usage. Could only buy 2 hours at a time. Inconvenient if trying to do business. The room was quite nice and hotel ambience quite nice.
Did not appreciate being turned away from the sports bar with my 3 month old son. No air con in the bedrooms, had to leave door open in a 2 bed appartment. service at cafe was good
The accommodation and facilities are first class. The service was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was a little bit more than expected for the area. However, I am of the opinion you pay for what you get. Abbey Beach Resort is first class resort and we will be back.
Location was excellent, right on beach and close to all amenities. We were fortunate enough to get a room upgrade from a studio room to a 2 bedroom apartment, which was great although a bit too big for just 2 people. We loved the spa though and the swimming pools.
The foyer of the resort was a very impressive but the air conditioning was not on and it was very hot and stuffy inside. this made checking in unpleasant as was the long walk down the airless corridor to our room. It was ok in the room once we turned on the airconditioner in the room. Other than this first impression the facilities were ok. There didn't seem to be a facilities guide available in the room and the menu for the cafe, restuarant and room service was a tatty photocopy. Not very up market. Glad we didn't pay full price but took advantage of the lower on line rates through [website].
From all the hype I thought it would be a little better.
Very good - when checking in staff needs to describe how to get to the room a little more as we were lost for about 20 mintues trying to find the hotel room.
The facilities are good and the rooms clean but I for the price I would have expected better cooking appliances. There was only one small frypan for a family apartment and it was of poor quality as it was warped. Also the Resort needs to be mindfull of how they place people as there were a number of rowdy groups of "single" people placed in the family accommodation which detracted from our amenity as they were quite noisy well into the night making it impossible to sleep in one of the rooms due to the high noise level coming from the other single rooms. The Resort needs to police its stated policy on noise by having some roving patrols which would be able to easily identify the rowdy groups. Overall a nice place to stay but I have stayed in better accommodation for a cheaper price.
Receptionist was slightly rude and our room wasnt ready by 2pm as advertised which was disappointing as we arrived at 1pm. So had to hang around until the room was ready. The en-suite spa was lovely and the room was really nice. The outdoor pools and indoor pool was nice and the close proximity to the beach was ideal. Would definitely stay here again.
Very enjoyable, great outlook, reasonably priced. Dessert at cafe not fresh and very expensive @ $11 each.
Why, when booking on the internet you end up with a room next to the stairwell ( noise factor ). perhaps a seal on door base may help reduce the echo of doors closing.
Nice hotel, but noisy at night. You can hear all the water pipes and other peoples showers and baths being emptied.
The Abbey Beach Resort is a wonderful place to stay, however the price of food and drink is way,way over the top. If you choose to bring your own, then the stay would be in expensive, perhaps this is what they are trying to get people to do!!!
