Abbot Hotel Barcelona

Wonderfully modern and clean hotel. However, no restaurant as they're undergoing refurb. A bit expensive in that breakfast, rooms and parking were all charged separately. Breakfast was quite extensive but still not worht 12 Euros pp. esp. for a 6-year-old child!! Location is superb for the metro with only about 4 or 5 stops to the Sagrada Familia. Service was pleasant enough although they were not as friendly to my parents as they were to me. I asked the same questions my parents asked, but they were not entertained, and I was. Reason? Don't know! Would consider staying again but with so many hotels in Barcelona, we won't be running back there anytime soon!

I have made the reservation for double room. The hotel charged me a double rate but they have put me into a single room because they said the hotel was fully booked. It was quite unfair ... but for one night i have not complained ....

This is a fine choice, close to the main train station with metro lines and airport train service for 2.5 euros! Staff very helpful. Hotel room was very clean and certainly roomier than many single rooms in which I've stayed. Highly recommend the hotel breakfast buffet...excellent!

Its a nice hotel. The rooms are a bit smaller though and the hotel has limited facilities. However, it is in a good location and train station and bus tour points are nearby. Good for small stays !

This was a good hotel, the rate I got from Rates to Go was excellent. Only one drawback was the location it was in the buisness district and away from most of the 'tourist sites' however these were easily reached by the Metro which has a station 5 minutes away.

Nice interior, close to Sants station and the metro network of Barcelona. Very practical hotel for a city trip.

Room a little small, but otherwise excellent.

Very friendly staff, double paned windows kept out noise on street, would definitely stay there again
