Abbots Mead Hotel

A modest hotel and restaurant, welcoming and attentive. Room and en-suite small but adequate.

Lovely hotel close to the centre of town. Clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast - cereals and/or fruit plus hot breakfast cooked to order. Owners friendly and welcoming. Free parking in front of hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, it was a ncie place, but a few niggled spoiled it for me. Wi-Fi kept dropping out which was annoying when I had so much to do. Probably the fault of the provider, but it did make it hard work. The car park is in the front of the building and is two rows of cars. If someone parks behind you and they have gone out into town, you're a bit stuffed! Luckily, the person that was blocking me in was the waitress but it could have been very differet.

This hotel was staffed by the immediate family who were very friendly and helpful and I would use this hotel again if I was overnighting in this vicinity.

Nice hotel in a very central location, surrounded by lots of fantastic pubs and restuarants. Great for short or long breaks.

Very friendly staff, great location. Room quite small, bed very soft, no bath.

Very pleasent hotel would reccomend to anyone wanting a relaxing break.
