Abbotswood Motor Inn Geelong

Great Location just outside main city centre. Rooms very neat and tidy with above average features and facilities providing: Foxtel, Central Heating, Microwave and even supplying milk as a gesture. Had a fantastic stay there. Would have been nice to have stayed longer than one night. Definitely will return there at some other time.

We stayed in a spa room which could not be enjoyed fully, as the bathroom had a vented window allowing the cold in and no heating, in fact the bathroom mirror frosted over during the night. There was only just enough hot water to cover the spa vents.

All good for an overnight stay but the pillows are so high and hard. Not a comfortable sleep and sore neck the next day

We found the Abbotswood Motor Inn Geelong to be of excellent service and the facilities to be exactly what were looking for. I believe we will stay there again next time we are in Geelong.

The service here is second to none. We had the lovliest experience with our breakfast where the owner actually phoned us to let us know it was on it's way and then personally delivered it. The couple that run this motel are lovely.

The family room at the Motor Inn Geelong was clean and well laid out with a double bed and two full size bunk beds. The room was large and adequate for a stay by two adults and two teenage children. All linen was clean and towels were replaced daily. Perhaps the only thing missing was an on site restaurant but the motor inn is located close to a large shopping district providing these services. The cooking facilities provided in room were ideal for preparing a quick snack/cup of tea but were not intended for preparation of a small meal. Our stay was enjoyable and the helpful staff was appreciated.

We booked for 2 days - everything was in order except our room was not made up on the second day of our stay which I find quite disappointing.

The room was very clean and tidy, The staff were friendly and welcoming and had paid attention to the details.

Good location and easy to get around to other places. Very clean and tidy, great indoor pool and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would stay at the Motor Inn again if we were staying this side of Melbourne. Would recommend as a great place to stay for site seeing and for corporate people.

We were delighted with every aspect of our stay. The motel has been nicely refurbished, the bed was comfortable and the service provided was excellent. The motel was located near where I needed to be; otherwise it's on the edge of Geelong but worth travelling across Geelong for the accommodation.

Tthe gentleman that ran the Motel (unsure of his name) was absolutely marvellous - nothing was too much trouble. It was nice to have some old fashioned hospitality. Would recommend this motel to friends and colleagues.
