Getting there:Located at the beginning of George street, diagonally opposite the Botanical Gardens. Turn left into George Street coming from the Northern Motorway, and we are opposite the left turn well signed. Coming from the South drive straight up the one way street heading north towards North East Valley. Turn left at the lights opposite the Botanic Gardens and we are straight ahead on the left, well signed. Coming from the South we are at the end of one way street system heading towards North East Valley. Turn left at the lights and we are straight ahead, well signed.
Check-in Procedure:Check In Time is 2.00 p.m unless prior arrangements made. If arriving after 8.30 p.m. please advise estimated time of arrival. Please present signed voucher and credit card details on arrival.
Car parking:Free off street parking. One car park allocated to each unit.
Child Policy:Children are welcome. Children occupying a bed will be charged as per adult. If a cot is required there is a charge of $12.00.
Very comfortable and warm. Great location: accessible on entry to the city, and close to the CBD. Happy to stay there again, next time.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, although looking out of windows, you could see straight into the next unit. Staff were very friendly. It was a little far from the CBD which meant we needed to drinve because of the weather.
The management are very friendly, gave us a map and circled points of interest, amenities etc. the location was just to the edge of the city which was great as it provided a good walk each day, was on a busy bus route which we could use if necessary. The unit was clean and warm, and equiped with everything necessary for our stay. We were given a pack of cards for our one evening in. many thanks
A retro motel with all the facilities of a 1960's motel it took me back to the early days of my marriage. A steep staircase did not help in visits in the night to the toilet.
There were a few aspects that were below par. An airblock in the shower - there was a notice about how to deal with it. But why not just fix it! No small shampoo sachets - this is normal. Draws in kitchen could hardly be opened they were so stiff. Only one heater for the whole two bedroom unit. Motel quite old and dated now. Needs a refit.
One comment the heating wasnt good enough for the climate of Dunedin.
Great little unit - perfect for what we needed. A little further out of town than I'd anticipated but still close enough to walk. Very clean and tidy - I would highly recommend it.
A bit out of town, although located very handy to transport. Kitchen was a bit cramped and so was the bathroom/toilet
Location is pretty good, close to supermarket, shop and restaurant. Parking is provided near each unit on narrow&steep lot. Separated hot&cold water tap is inconvenience. Dining space is limited.
No hair dryer and the mattress is soft However, the pricing is reasonable and staff are friendly

A reasonable oldish hotel on the outskirts of the city. A bus stop is on the doorstep to provide access to town. Hotel was very comfortable and manager very friendly and hospitable.
This motel is in a good location 2.8 kilometres (approximately 30 minutes walk, or 5 minutes by car) from the city centre. It is approximately 1 kilometre (10 minutes walk) from the University of Otago and Otago Museum. Like most New Zealand motels, the rooms have cooking fasciitilies. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The owners/staff are very friendly and helpful.
It was very comfortable and would return if staying in Dunedin in the future.

I am happy to recommend this motel, it was very clean and modestly, but very adequately appointed. The staff also was extremely helpful.
Excellent value for the price. The family owners were very friendly and went far beyond he call of duty. Despite a cold Dunedin weekend the studio units were warmly heated, with electric blankets. Highly recommended.
The proprietors were exceptionally pleasant and helpful.
