The Aberotel is a charming little hotel where rooms are very small but clean, it is reasonably quiet and close to a metro station and 10 to 15 minutes away from the very busy Montparnasse Station district for those who like to walk.
I found the bed a bit hard and the shower rather low, but otherwise it is a good hotel for this price at this location.
A small room as you would expect in Paris but very nice overlooking a lovely internal courtyard. Free internet and good airconditioning but you can open the windows too. Close, but not too close, to metro, SNCF and car hire. A good price when discounted; normally 130 Euro for a double.
Well situated hotel in a quiet street. Room was very pleasant, with a good standard of fittings and fixtures. Staff were accomodating, friendly and helpful.
I stayed in this hotel for three nights and it was perfect. The service was great, the room was very clean and it was in a really nice area. Nearby was a great pastry shop, also a great restaurant, aswell as a supermarket and fruit shop. The metro was about 100m away. Another positive was that it had free wireless internet. The only negative thing i could say was that the room was quite small but I didn't care cause I spent hardly any time there during the day.
It is really conveniently located near two Metro stations that will take you to all the places you want to see. There are supermarkets nearby. I would definitely stay here again.
Cosy and friendly atmosphere
The room was tiny - a double bed with just enough room to walk around it and a small closet. The bathroom was also small but well maintained. The staff was kind and supportive. We had our 9 month old baby, and felt incredibly welcomed. Breakfast was expensive, but good.
Excellent location and very helpful staff. My room was on the ground floor and I like to open my window at night. Unfortunately I could not do this, as there was no way of securing it, and anyone could have jumped through from the street. The bathroom was very, very small and the water was only lukewarm.
We stayed at this hotel between Christmas and new year in 2005. For the price that we payed I can warmly recommend this hotel. The free WLAN connection was a nice positive surprise that helped us a lot when planning our touristy activities in Paris.
Rooms tend to be small and bathrooms minuscule. How do you sit on the loo?? Pleasant staff and very clean.
Very small room and tiny bathroom but very clean and would recommend to those who have a reason to stay in this area but not for those who want to be closer to the tourist action.
excellent hotel, standard paris tiny room and bathroom, non standard cleanliness, charm and very firm bed,(1st non sagging bed i've had in a paris 2/3 star hotel), every other "remodeled" hotel i've been in has forgotten about the bed... Staff courteous and helpful, didn't try the breakfast but it was 8 euros ... location seemed a bit out of the way at first but the line 12 metro is well connected and just down the street, and every time we checked the buses, one of the lines went to just were we we looking to go, will definitely stay there again. Did I mention they have free in room wifi ! not standard in Paris.
If you just need a clean room in a nice suburban area then this is the hotel for you. The twin room I got was pretty small and lacks air conditioning
Excellent, small, cheap, friendly, very clean hotel, well placed for site seeing. Fairly quiet location though rooms on front could be a little noisy in early morning if windows opened in warm weather. Would definitely use again. Highly recommended
This is a delightful hotel. Small, intimate, spotless, a welcome oasis after 12 hours of sight seeing. Some top French restaurants within short walking distance.
Very good breakfast.
The hotel is well located and the staff are attentive and friendly
Everything was nice. We like to come back some later time. The service was very good.
All the previous comments that I read on line about this hotel were correct. I shall definitely go again. Set in a very quiet street just around the corner from the Metro. The staff are charming and helpful and unobtrusive. The room was extremely competitively priced. The hotel was charming. When you find one like this, you go back. Excellent.
