How to find us: Rail: Canterbury East and West Stations 5 minutes Air: London Gatwick Airport - 1 hour Kent International Airport (Manston) - 15 minutes Road: From the M20 take the J7 exit onto the A249. Join the M2 at J5. Take the J7 exit and follow signs for Canterbury. You will come to the Habitat roundabout, where you turn left onto Castle Street. Take your 1st left into Rosemary Lane, then right into Stour Street and follow on to the hotel car park.

This is the place to stay if you visit Canterbury. It is within the city walls so there is no need for your car or public transportation. The staff could not have been more helpful. I was a single women traveling alone and felt very safe. The food at the restaurant was amazing.
A typical English Hotel, when it´s best! Friendly staff, clean and nice rooms, AAA+ service, we will be back!
The staff were friendly the room comfortable and the breakfast very good fresh healthy produce and the serving staff were polite and attentive. The hotel is on the pedestrianised A2 or the high street and in the middle of Canterbury, ideal location

Terrific place although a bit dear - if you are going to have time to walk about Canterbury then it just the place you want to stay.
The parking was a problem because the hotel is located at the high street, but fortunately I found the closer parking place.

Do NOT stay in a room overlooking the main street unless you like being kept awake most of the hight by the noise from late night revellers.
Nice hotel. Large room. Excellent location right in the centre of the old town. Our only complaint is that the room was made up at 5 pm one day. A safe deposit box in the room would also have been nice.
