A really nice place to stay. Very tidy and clean. Plenty of parking space and very friendly service :)

Nice well kept rooms , very clean . Friendly service . The only thng that bothered me was the road noise had we known how busy the road was there we would have got something further back off the road otherwise all good .

I found all aspects of my stay very good. The rooms are modern yet homely/comfortable and very clean/well presented. Perhaps the only slightly negative comment - and this is really beyond the control of the motel - but it can be noisy given its placement at a very busy 4X road intersection. However, the location is very convenient to get in or out of Tauranga.

The room was everything we required, clean and tidy. However the location is noisy on a busy corner and we had a unit close to the road so traffic noise was an issue. The only complaint I had was that the male owner was a little gruff when I phoned to confirm booking and not very user friendly.

We found the couple running the Academy Motor Inn very helpful and friendly.I believe they were looking after the place for their son.After a long tiring day of travelling we were made to feel very welcome. The unit was very clean and warm

Was very close to a busy road and you could hear traffic noise

I reserved my room online and then arrived about 30 minutes later around 11pm at night. Even though the hotel attendant had retired for the evening, and I had awakened him, he was gracioous, considerate, and thoughtful as to my last minute room acommodations. The area looked a little seedy when I arrived late at night but it was fine in the daylight. I immensely appreciated having the only free wireless internet I have had in Australia or New Zealand.

clean modern and well appointed, little bit of traffic noise but that is to be expected and isnt a problem. Highly recommended

Spoilt by the location next to a very busy road which made it very noisy otherwise it was very nice.

A very convenient location and good value. Little extras like plunger coffee, spa bath etc. make it a great place to stay. Very friendly staff and most helpful.

To explain my ratings above: Facilities and cleanliness just fine, as expected. I don't appreciate someone (the owner I presume?) assuming it is alright to call me "giood girl" - very condescending. Really noisy being next to a set of traffic lights on a busy road, so would not stay there again. That's not the owner's fault of course. Pricing with [your website] exceelent (quite a bit cheaper than if I had booked directly with the Motor Inn)

Lay out of the rooms was well thought out, Service was very good, recommend air conditioning for the summer time as with the bedroom on the second floor, never thought of the heat factor in the summer time.

Very friendly hosts. Good service.
