Adagio Hotel Barcelona

Ideally situated near the Ramblas although those rooms on the front can be a little noisy as there is an Irish Pub across the road. The breakfast was simple but better than the basic continental breakfast. We had a room for four - as we did not spend much time in the room we did not need the space as it was a little tight. The walls are thin and we could hear the occupants on the landing coming in late at night. Reception staff were not particularly friendly and helpful. All in all our one night stay was fine, bedding clean and plenty of hot water which was all we needed from for a basic hotel.

Hotel was in a great location and easily accessible from the metro. Most of the hotel staff were helpful though at check in we were not overly impressed with one staff member. The rooms were clean though a little outdated, but were fine for our needs. Although in a busy area, rooms were sound proofed and the only noise issues we had were with other guests yelling outside our room. The internet access was only in the lobby not the rooms. No big deal really. Overall for the price I would stay here again.

Service was pleasant and helpful at all times. The hotel is simple (wifi is only on the ground floor, breakfast in the foyer / ground floor) but clean and well run. It was convenient being between the two metro stations.

Fantastic location close to everything, especially the , room quite small, but clean. Staff were very friendly and happy to assist.

A great location at a good price. 2 minor reservations; the breakfast is a waste of time, consisting of white bread, cheese, 2 (count em) types of sliced meat which I could not identify, orange drink (not juice) and some cornflakes which tasted like pasta. Also the wireless internet access didn't work throughout our stay, and never works above the first floor anyway. So if, like me you take your laptop for this reason, you will probably be a bit miffed. However, the room was fine, the staff pleasant and courteous and as I said the location is nigh-on unbeatable.

VERY CLEAN, THE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL.

I stayed 2 nights in Dec 2006. It''s very clean, fantastic location, reasonable quality rooms, very simple but very good breakfast. For a 2 star hotel, this is an excellent place to stay, and I''d definitely stay here again. The wifi does not work, so you have to go to an internet cafe if you want to connect to the internet, which is not a problem because lots of internet cafes nearby. Overall this hotel is very good.

A good buy with a very good location. I guess that rooms towards the street could be disturbed by noice, but I had no problem with that. Small rooms but they had most things you could ask for.

Hi, we stayed in a doble room, and it had neither air-condition or safe in the room, it was on the fourth floor with out balcony.. The sound proofing weren´t all that good either (might be because we had to sleep with the window open). Hard beds as well. Good location though, but wouldn´t stay here again.

Hotel at great location. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is very good and all facilities are available as listed. Drawback is the wireless internet does not work properly. So if you consider this hotel because of its wireless internet access, don't bother.

Perfect location. But not really sound proof room, thin doors You hear everybody walking and talking outside room.

Basic and good value for money.

This is a nice hotel in an excellent location. The room was quite basic, and very small, but clean and adequate. Breakfast was included. Overall, a good choice.

Booked last minute and there was a conference and European football so was suprised at how good it was and the location was brilliant . Would stay there again.
