"I really liked this place - it was spacious and reasonably priced with full facilities that really suited our needs. The units are fairly original, which means the furnishings seem a little old fashioned, but they weren't tired or worn out. The double bed was HUGE. Close to the city too.
For the budget / value conscious family these units are recommended." - Wayne Murphy
"The first motel in Dunedin coming down the SH1, as I arrived by bus from Christchurch was first stop.
Had an apartment with double bed and two singles up stairs. Fridge microwave and cooking stove.
Best accommodation I had for the whole of my journey to NZ would recommend it highly" - Charles Scott
"The Motel is a twenty minute walk from the main CBD. The Fitzgerald Arms on Fitzgerald Street provides excellent food and refreshments (10 minutes walk).
The beds were extremely comfortable and the room kept clean. Access to Sky TV is also provided free of charge. " - steven byrom
