A clean, tidy, efficiently run motel in a good location. You get what you pay for.
It was a lovely stay. Great beds. It pretty much felt like being at home. Everything was there in terms of facilities and we didn't feel we were short of anything.

I really liked this place - it was spacious and reasonably priced with full facilities that really suited our needs. The units are fairly original, which means the furnishings seem a little old fashioned, but they weren't tired or worn out. The double bed was HUGE. Close to the city too. For the budget / value conscious family these units are recommended.

The Motel is a twenty minute walk from the main CBD. The Fitzgerald Arms on Fitzgerald Street provides excellent food and refreshments (10 minutes walk). The beds were extremely comfortable and the room kept clean. Access to Sky TV is also provided free of charge.
A small motel within easy walking distance of the centre of Christchurch. Friendly, helpful owner. Good self catering facilities in a separate kitchenette. Car parking and access a little cramped.

The first motel in Dunedin coming down the SH1, as I arrived by bus from Christchurch was first stop. Had an apartment with double bed and two singles up stairs. Fridge microwave and cooking stove. Best accommodation I had for the whole of my journey to NZ would recommend it highly
