Excellent location. Small and friendly hotel. Lovelly view of Acropolis at breakfast time.
What you get with this hotel is location location location. The terraces overlook a wonderful square with restaurants and bars and a short walk to the acropolis. Maybe not a good idea if you're a light sleeper. The room is basic with the smallest bathroom I have ever seen; the staff however, were friendly and the room was clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
Good location within walking distance of the Acropolis and other historic sites. Clean, pleasant room. Great roof terrace breakfast. Definitely would stay there again.
good location, helpfull stuff,
location is great. hotel is small & quaint. breakfast is very good.
Having a roof terrace with a view of the Acropolis, it made a perfect one night stop on our journey to the cruise ship. We had a room with no rear view, making it quiet. Several bedrooms look onto Adrianou and would be lovely for a longer stay. Its situation in the heart of Plaka in Athens make it an excellent base for a holiday.
Charming staff, helpful & perfect location in the Plaka. There is more than a five star ratings for where you stay....this is worthy of anyones time..a real pleasure!
Very friendly & helpful staff. Visited out of season so not all facilities open but excellent location in the Plaka, very near to the Roma Agora and easy reach of the Acropolis.
This well-located hotel is on a relatively quiet street extremely close to the Acropolis and other ruins. You can walk everywhere from here. The neighborhood is pleasant although touristic, but nearby are areas which are very lovely and have fewer tourists. It is exceptionally well-run, clean, has an excellent breakfast buffet, and is not expensive. The desk staff are particularly knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to act when there are problems (noisy, somewhat crazy hotel guest). Our only criticism is that the rooms and bathrooms are arranged/built awkwardly. The beds were narrow, somewhat hard, and they had few double beds available. The reading lights were not that great. It is convenient to the airport because the metro goes to the airport from the nearby Monastiraki metro station. We stayed there for a week and have a fairly good sense of the place. If we return to Athens we would surely return to this excellent hotel.
Would gladly return to the Adrian for another stop over, the hotel is in an excellent position in the Plaka area close to Acropolis and the tube station. We had a room looking up toward the Acropolis which was a wonderful sight when lit up at night.Breakfasts were average and because we visited in november the roof top restaurant wasn't open which was a shame.Athens is a must for travel enthusiasts
a great hotel experience. best 3 star i've been in, period.
The best part of my stay was breakfast on the roof - from there you can see rooftop gardens and the Acropolis. The room was nothing special (typical for Europe), but the bed was comfortable and the place was clean. The reception desk was very friendly. The location in the Plaka area was very good and convenient. I would recommend this hotel. (Lee from Connecticut)
Excellent location in the centre of the Plaka district of Athens. Roof top restaurant looks across at the Acropolis. Found the staff very friendly and helpful.
Good value for hotel if staying in the Plaka area. Can't beat the view of the acropolis from the roof!
excellent location, view of acropolis, wonderful breakfast including fresh-squeezed orange juice. Rooms had plenty of storage space and nice combo tub/shower along with bidet. Front desk staff very friendly knowledgeable and helpful.
Nice and reliable people at the reception. Fantastic roof terrasse. Very practical location. Small remark: the Hotel should also mention now on its website on "how you get there" the possibility of a direct access by Metro from the airport direct to Monasteraki station instead of bus + metro.
One of the best 3 stars I've encountered. Helpful staff, gorgeous rooftop garden, excellent views from the balconies on third floor. (Rooms have balconies, nice big ones on the side facing away from the Acropolis and tiny ones with a great view of the acropolis on the other side.)
Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. Excellent position for exploring all the major ancient sites - all within easy walking distance.
Ideally located for La Plaka and the Acropolis; Breakfast was adequate and the accommodation sound. We went out of season but there is a magnificent roof terrace.
Great hotel with excellent staff and wonderful breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of the Accropolis and is adjacent to the Plaka. Restaurants and shops are just outside the door. One of the best hotel experiences!! The hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Would stay there again anytime. Recommend it to those who want an excellent hotel at an economy rate.
