Agriturismo Villa Luca Hotel Sant'Agata di Militello

"Very picturesque setting high on a hill with sea views accross to the islands. We would not have found our way to it from the directions given as it is off the beaten track. Luckily the locals are very friendly and told us to follow their car to find it. However when we arrived, at the agreed time, there was no one to let us in and although there was a phone number by the electric gates my british mobile phone wouldn't work within Sicily. Luckily again a friendly neighbour used his own phone to contact the owner and after a 20 minute wait the owner arrived to let us in. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights there but you do need a car. The breakfasts were good, the setting idyllic and the new swimming pool was excellent. The only down side is the noise from the nearby motorway but once you are in your room with doors and windows closed you cannot hear it." - Bryan Cox

"Ideal if you have a vehicle. The Villa is about 1km from the town and beach front and is fairly high up - so a reasonably steady walk. The location does provide wonderful views of the area and out to sea. " - Anonymous
