| Getting there: |
Directions from Limerick: Take the main road from Limerick to Tipperary Town (N24). From Limerick enter the Main Street in Tipperary Town. At the traffic lights, turn right. Shortly after the traffic lights you will pass the Royal Hotel on your right, followed by the Creamery. Travel out this road over the railway line till you reach the traffic circle. Turn right at the traffic circle. Follow the main road, past the signs for the Ballinacourty Hotel and the Ballyglass House Hotel on the right hand side. Continue until you reach another T-junction. There are signs indicating the Glen of Aherlow and The Aherlow House Hotel. Take the road to the right, and follow the road up the mountain, past the hairpin bend. Just after cresting the top of the mountain there is a road to the right, which has the Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges sign board. Take this road and follow it down the mountain until you reach the hotel.
