Great location if using tain for your travels. Veiw onto the canal was really good. Room was very small but for the price it was good value We had to leave early so they made a packed breakfast for us

Location was very good - only few minutes to go to parkinghouse or railway station. We had excellent (but a bit noisy) Grande Canale-view from our window. Only disturbing circumstance - in the breakfast-room was unusually high temperature and there wasn't enough frech air.

Excellent location close to St. Marks Square. Decor was lovely - typically ornate Italian. None of usual hotel facilities available [although tiny kitchen facilities] - more typical of a European 'pensione'. We were given a voucher for a 'European' continental breakfast at cafe next door each day.

just two doors down from registration and a long stairway up to one's room. Great location on the grand canal

The airone has its reception two doors down from its entrance and has no reception desk of its own. a little inconvenience.

Upon check-in we were told one of our rooms had an A/C problem, so we had to hike to another hotel (which they had arranged). After our cruise we checked back in to Airone Hotel again. The rooms and facilities seemed substandard. One of the room A/C's performed very poorly and the room stayed hot.

Nice Hotel very conviently located for Venice, right on the Grand Canel. Had room over looking the garden which I would recommend as the rooms facing the Canal are very noisy.

The Airone Hotel is accross the grand canal from the train station which was great. Ok sized room but renovated bathroom which was great. Breakfast was a little stingy in comparison to Rome and Florence but overall a comfortable stay.

Clean basic hotel accomodation in prime location for arrival by either train or bus. No need to drag suitcases around narrow alleys searching for hotel, only 2 minutes walk from Roma bus depot. Continental breakfast reasonable for price. Good hotel to use on a low budget trip.

I booked this hotel not knowing what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! Easy to get to from Marco Polo Airport, close to shops and restaurants, overlooking the Grand Hotel. The staff were very helpful, although our room did not have an en-suite bathroom, the shared one was very clean. The continental breakfast was ample. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend for visitors on a budget and would certainly stay there again when I next visit Venice.

Good points: Air conditioning was a life saver! Location was good, it was very close to the train station and bus station. Bad point: Was a bit noisy in the morning, all rooms lead off the breakfast room.

We had a perception that venice was very expensive and as our accommodation was on the lower end of the price scale we were expecting something really bad. However we were plesantly surprised. The room size was good, and although some of the furnishings were old and worn, it was clean. Only problem was the way everything in the room shook when anyone walked down the hall at night. Very loud. Location outstanding easiest to get to with luggage, as theres only a few sets of stairs to cross. And its right on the grand canal. Breakfast not worth mentioning, very minimal. A great option for a budget stay in venice for a young couple or easygoing (not fussy) travellers.

Amazing views of the Gran Canal - cant believe these views for the price! Reasonable breakfast, friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Located opposite train station. Comfy and warm room. We recommend this hotel for very good cheap accomodation.

The hotel was extremely convenient and easy to find in often confusing Venice. We were arriving to the hotel very late at night (12 am) after a late flight, and the hotel's close proximity to the bus stop made it extremely easy to find and haul our luggage to. We also had A/C in our room- a HUGE perk. Though it wasn't the cleanest hotel, it was a good deal for the price, and if traveling under cost-constraints, would stay there again.

The staff are friendly, and most of them speak good English. The location is great, right next to the Piazza de Roma and a short hop across from the railway station. Rooms are very basic, but clean and comfortable.

Friendly, English-speaking staff. Lovely room with warm bedclothes (no skimpy blankets). Breakfast was a bit diappointing, very limited even fo a continentall breafast. Excellently located on the Grand Canal, almost opposite the train station and very close to the bus station. Easy walking distance to most of the major sights, and virtually next door to a water bus stop.

Good Location on the Grand Canal opposite the train station (Ferrovia.) Hotel is up a single flight of stairs, all rooms are on the same floor. If you can get a room at the front looking out at the canal then I would recommend this hotel. If not, then I would rate it as average with its location its best feature. If arriving by plan for example both the train station and bus station (Piazza Le Roma) are less than 100 yards walk.
