Getting there:Alexandros Hotel is about 40 minutes away by taxi from the Elefhterios Venizelos Airport and the fair costs approx. 18 euros. By car, take the Attiki odos motorway towards Elefsina and then take the exit No 11 (Kiffisias) towards Athens. Then follow the Kiffisias Avenue which turns to Vassilisis Sofias Avenue and turn right to Tim. Vassou str. and here you areļ. Alternatively, take the Shuttle Bus number E95 from the Airport and get off at Mavili square. The hotel is just a minute walk.

Great location and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean but there was a smell of chlorine (which is a good indication of the room being clean but didn t feel like home). The bed was ok but can t say the same for the pillows. Overall a good hotel and good value for money.
One of the best selection in Athens. Very nice and secure area. We were very scared after reading other hotel's comments. We got lucky and got an upgrade to the Suite :)
Very helpful staff in a small hotel, excellent breakfast buffet, and good value meals available untill 23:30 hrs. Near Metro and bus stops into and out of the centre of Athens, which is only a pleasant 20 minute walk away (and ten minutes walk to Licavitos Hill).

Airotel Alexandros in Athens is excellent; well located within 10 minutes walk of the metro, excellent facilities and outstanding service; I'd higly recomend this hotel
Unfortunately there is no Non Smoking policy or rooms available in this hotel. Rooms need urgent redecoration - refurbishing. Breakfast room and common areas are in good condition.
Myroom had very small bathroom
Quiet location. No view. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Easy to call taxi. Some restaurants in the area.
We had a slightly 'tired' room at the back - but the quiteness more than made up for the slightly stained carpet and old furnishings. All very clean, with daily change of crisp cool linen; tea making facilities in room, replenished daily; plumbing and tioletries good. Breakfast must be the best value in Athens - no need to eat again for the rest of the day, with Greek, Continetal, English and American breakfasts (everything!) available. Despite this, the main feature is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff
Ideal Hotel when visiting Athens for business.
Both bus and rail in close proximity. What a wonderful hotel and staff. Whilst it does not have a roof top pool or gym we were impressed and the restaurant is both exquisit and well priced.
