Aitken On Mulgrave Serviced Apartments Wellington

Very comfortable apartment for the price. Did not have a hairdryer in the room. Could have done with a few more utensils in the kitchen. Overall, I had a good stay here and the apartment was quiet considering the central location

Very convenient to supermarkets & central bus depot. The studio apartment had everything we needed; washer/dryer, sink, fridge, hotplates, microwave, dishwasher and with the bonus of daily service. Free WiFi gives this hotel the big thumbs up from me.

Place was very clean and in a great location. It was very noisy Saturday night though. There wasn't anyone there when we arrived and had to phone the number on the door to get in. Would stay there again.

Well appointed rooms (dishwasher, oven, etc) but weak on many other aspects, especially over the Christmas period. Shaded, indirect light in rooms. No lounge or other public space. Public parking a nightmare. Surly, unhelpful receptionist & no office hours over holiday period. Insufficient room supplies for the period of no servicing ( & no info about this!). Maintenance issues with lights, door handles, half a chain lock, missing "emergency tag".

An ideal location within the Parliamentary / Railway precinct of Wellington.

Stayed for one night at the hotel as I was attending the Bon Jovi show at Westpac Stadium which was just around the corner as was the train station. The hotel room was so much nicer than the photos on the the net. It was a clean, pleasant and well maintained room to stay in. The bed was comfortable. The kitchenette looked very nice and clean and new but I did not use for it on my one night stay. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The internet access was free but very slow. The girl at Reception was very nice and helpful. The common areas; Reception, corridors, and lifts were all clean and well maintained. I have to get very picky to find something to fault this hotel but about the only faults (and these are very trivial faults) would be that I wasn't a big fan of the type of bath towels the hotel had but the towels were clean and not worn. And there was no complimentary box of tissues. So pretty trivial faults only. I would very definitely stay at this hotel again.

My stay was excellent apart from the fridge that I thought was working but found in the morning it wasn't. Is it possible for a note to be left for visitors telling them if the fridge needs to be turned on and where the switch for it is? The Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were helpful. Room was small but clean and had all the facilities required. Suitable for short stay only. Good value.

Simple, reasonable quality facilities, clean and good value.

We were due to catch the Overlander train leaving Wellington Station at 7.30 am. Early check out was easy and the apartments are conveniently near the station without being overly noisy and the laundry facilities were very useful.

we stayed there fo nights, it's located nearby main bus station and that's very convenient for someone who visits Wellington for the first time. We were quite happy for what we had paid for.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. Great location, close to the train station and the CBD, and the houses of parliament. Quiet and very comfortable. The only trouble was with the organized wake-up call: 6:20am was asked for, but occurred at 6:30am. During this call, I again enquired about staff being at the concierge desk at the advertised 7:00am, and assured staff would be there. No staff there at 7:05, no staff there at 7:10. We had to leave to catch the shuttle to the ferry, so I had to leave the key on the handle of the locked door entry to the concierge room. Hope it was found OK. Good modern accommodation at a reasonable price.

Comfortable, conveniently located, excellent value.

This is studio style apartment unit located center of Wellington. Nice facilities in room but there is no parking lots belong to the hotel. Nearest parking building is 10 to 15mins drive away.

I really enjoyed staying at Aitken on Mulgrave. Each staff member was very efficient and very friendly. The location was marvellous for my work. I would stay again without hesitation.
