Easy to find Hotel which was marked on all of the major road/ subway maps with only a short walk from Akasaka subway station. Location is brilliant as easy 15min walk to nightspots / shopping in Ropongi plus nice temple at the end of the street for some peace & quiet. Single room / bathroom really small so tall / large people need to get a double! Note bed was seriously hard! Most of the staff understand enough english to get by so had no major trouble. Over-all was cheap and good enough if your not going to be spending alot of time in your hotel room.
I have stay there for only 1 night. This hotel is not so far from the entrance for Sub-way that make easy to travel anywhere in tokyo..
The housekeeper did not even wash our cups in the room. The tea bags and cups with lipstick marks were not wash.
Stayed here twice during our Japan holiday. My 4 day stay room was good, although the bathroom is not what I was use to. A little on the small side, but being on my own it served it's purpose. A week later we stayed again, this time for 3 days. This time the room was bigger which made the stay that little better. I would stay here againif visiting Japan.
Very convenient to the Metro. Good facilities, good rooms up from the most basic (the ones which have free Internet access). Free Cold bottled water each day. OK Breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Close to a good 7-11 for essentials. A nice German restaurant close by. Overall very nice to stay at.
The room very small for 3 people. It's like double bed room plus extra bed. However, staffs was very helpful, I'm very appreciate for their help.
I recommend this hotel it has an excellent location for everything food, bars, trains
I've stayed here before. The price is good -- it includes a buffet breakfast. The hotel is clean. New from before is that each room now has a personal computer for which there is no extra charge to use the internet. Other than that, the hotel is a barebones business hotel. The location is fantastic -- a 5 minute walk to Akasaka Station on the Chiyoda Line, and about a 10-15 minute walk to the Midtown complex in Roppongi.
I have stayed here before. the price includes a good breakfast and the local area is easy to get around. Would stay again.
Did not know there were free bottles of water per guest until last 2 days of stay. Such information were only available in Japanese at the check-in counter. Breakfast spread is quite okay but practically the same everyday which we gotten tired of.
Only negative is the room size, it is very small. I had no problem with this, and I at am 6'2", but some will feel claustrophobic. it is basically just a bed, with a small desk. internet free in room above floor 6, ask for the top floors. bathroom was harder to navigate at my height and size, 310 pounds, but I managed. hot shower with good water pressure, and free shaver, toothbrush, bodywash, shampoo. great value for the location. Tokyo is very expensive now. you can walk to Ropongi in 15 minutes.
I stayed here during the New Year 1.5 years ago and the service and facilities have remained consistent. For the price, the location is fantastic. It's about a 5 minute walk to Akasaka station on the Chiyoda line, which gives access to the subway network. In addition it's about an 8 minute walk to Roppongi (maybe max 15 minutes to Roppongi station) which is on the Hibiya subway line. You can't ask for a better than the [website] price. This is a business hotel, so expect rooms to be smaller than 4-5 star hotels.
It is located in the center of Tokyo and you can find a lot of places to eat.
The location of the hotel was well situated and easily accessible. Just a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the nearest Tokyo Metro (Akasaka Sta.). I would highly recommend this hotel as it was comfortable and a quite area to stay. A good selection and choice of food to eat in the area. Especially a sushi shop on the corner of the road when you exit the front of the hotel and turn left. After 8pm it has offers of 30% of selected sushi
Akasaka Hotel is a bit run down. Even though we requested a non-smoking room, smoke from other floors permeated our room and especially the halls. The place wasn't dirty, just old. On the brighter side, the staff is very friendly. Also, there is a pizza restaurant just two minutes walk from the hotel that serves really good individual-sized pizzas (I recommend). Bars, shopping, and restaurants are within a 10 minute walking distance. It's nice if you want to go out without the busy streets of central Tokyo. If you prefer busy streets, the subway is a 5 min walk, and the clubbing district of Roppongi is also close by. Overall, I wasn't especially pleased with the hotel since it was old and small, but I suppose it's okay if you don't plan on spending too much time in you hotel room.
The hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. The room are very small even for tokyo.
Very small singles. Not much in the immediate neighborhood but very near subway and 15 minute walk to Roppingi
The hotel is located in a good area within walking distance to supermarkets and convenience stores. Area has public maps of train stations and hotel on them. Use Exit 6 or 7 from Akasaka Station. Hotel competively priced. Major issue was having to hang around for 3 hours till 1500 (3pm) on a rainy day to get access to room to change and shower from having travelled overnight. I had to postpone meeting so that I could change. If you get into Tokyo early in the day you may need a hotel with earlier check in.
Great service and a great price. Not very close to the subway, but centrally located in Tokyo.
Good Location, close to Akasaka subway station: you can walk to Roppongi and Midtown for nightlife :-)
