"The Aki Grand Hotel seems to be focused on Japanese tour groups, so as an independent traveler in the off-season it seemed to be poorly suited to my needs. To get to town/ferry it is a 20 min walk along a busy motorway. The view is okay - not great, and while there were a range of bars and restaurants (and even ferries) - some seemed to be closed or not what were discussed in the in-room documentation. There was little English spoken at the hotel. I recommend finding somewhere closer to town if you are staying in Miyajimaguchi, or possibly on Miyajima itself. In fact, in retrospect, I would have stayed in Hiroshima and taken a day trip to Miyajima." - Anonymous

Hotel location is seaside against Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima-island as World caltural heritage.We can view Torii(The gate of shrine) through an ocean.We have 2 viewing rooms,one of them is as viewing a sea,another is as viewing a mountain.You can do the choice of them.Our offered prices are including buffet style breakfast.
It's Japanese and Western style cuisine mixed.You can be satisfyied we believe.Our popular attraction,it's night cruising to Itsukushima shrine from our private pier are going into effect every evening. |

If you use by Shinkansen,get off at Hiroshima station.And change to JR-Sanyo line, for 25min from Hiroshima station,you get off at Miyajimaguchi station.Taxi for 5 min. From the hotel to Miyajimaguchi station, there is free shuttle bus service available.It's from 8:00am to 10:30am in morning,3:30pm to 6:30pm in afternoon.
If you come by a viehcle,out at Hatsukaichi exit or Ohno exit on Sanyo expressway.Driving for within 15 min. from both exit. |
