Our best rooms are the Superior rooms, overlooking the canal. From their windows you can see the gondolas pass and the gondoliers singing. In the room there are Murano glass chandeliers, mirrors with golden frames and Venetian baroque style furniture. Some of them are with balcony.

"Three of us stayed in Al Gazzettino in March. We were a little apprehensive as we only paid €75 for a triple room. Well we a wounderful stay the hotel is in a fantastic location, room had everything you would need but best of all the staff were so nice. They went out of their way to organise a trip to the glass factory. If i ever go to Venice again i will certainly will stay here " - Anonymous
"This was a lovely hotel in a brilliant location. A couple of minutes walk to Rialto Vaporetta one way, and a couple of minutes to San Marco Square in the other direction. It is set back down a little lane though, and finding it at night can be a little tricky. It is also set virtually on the canal and the smell can be rather off putting. The bathroom in our room could have down with a damn good scrub. I found myself having to clean the shower before i used it. I also had to let the shower run for some 5 - 10 minute before the hot water started to appear. The television had approximately a 10" screen and was mounted to the 12 foot ceiling, which made it rather difficult to see! Breakfast was nice, but just not enough. You are served with coffee and a single croissant. I actually sat there waiting, wondering if something else was going to to served. For the price it was ok, but shop around. At the end of the day, your only sleeping there, and it does what it says on the packet." - Melissa Johnson
"I stayed with my girlfriend for a couple of nights as the last part of our tour of Italy itinerary.
And I'm glad we did, as Venice is an incredible finale to any tour. The hotel is located on a narrow stretch of canal, still negotiable by the boat taxis, a 5 minute walk from both Rialto and St Mark's. It's a friendly hotel, and the proprietors are helpful. The room was almost royal in appearance and very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but adequate.

Hotel Al Gazzettino i's a lovely hotel located in the centre of Venice, a few minutes walking from San Marco Square and Rialto Bridge,
Our Hotel offer very nice and big rooms. All our rooms are superior and they offer a very high quality confort.
All our rooms are furnished in a tipical baroque Venetian Style with nice carpet on the wall. All rooms are with bathroom.

We are in a very important position near the most important attractions, restaurants and shoppings centers.
In the hotel we have also a good traditional Italian restaurant where you can find good dishes of pasta, pizza and fish.

From the Airport "Marco Polo" of Venice:
- Taxi boat to the hotel "Al Gazzettino": Time 30 minutes price around 80,00/100,00 euro.
-Bus to Venice (20 minutes) price between 2,50 and 5,00 euro each.
- Alilaguna shuttle boat to San Zaccaria or San Marco (time 1 hour 15 minutes) price 13,00 euro each. Walking to San Mark Square and then pass under the Tower with the big clock. You follow the main street and then immediately after the bridge of "Bareteri" turn to the right to the Hotel "Al Gazzettino".
From the Tran station of Venice (Santa Lucia) or from the Terminal of the bus and cars (Piazzale Roma)
From Piazzale Roma: Public boat line n. 2 and get off Rialto. (15 minutes) (Price 6,50 euro each)
Outside the boat stop of Rialto turn right for 15 meters and then left. straight away for 150 meters to the hotel "Al Gazzettino" (You don't need to cross any bridges).
