Getting there:
If you provide the hotel with your flight details , the hotel will arrange your Airport transfer ( Highly Recommended ) Extra charges only USD 40.00 per car / per trip Hotel Location : From Dubai Airport take Al Etihad highway to Sharjah , you will see Al Mulla Plaza on the right side , keep straight and you Will see the Pizza hut & KFC restaurants on the right side , keep going straight till you reach the roundabout and then take the 3rd right of the roundabout ( Al Khaleej Newspaper will be on the left side of the road , go straight , you will find a traffic light , keep straight till you see flyover , take the right side ( before the flyover ) and go straight to AL Orouba st. , you will see Sharjah Shopping mall on the right side , go straight and after 200 meter you will see a tunnel and traffic light , and you can see UAE Exchange on the right side , turn to the first right after UAE Exchange and go straight for 300 meter and our hotel is there on the right

Free of charge from 1pm - 4pm and from 10 pm - 8 am

Location is good if you need to be close to the north bus station. It's a bit of a distance from the city centre. Clean and good selection for breakfast.

This hotel had good service and was clean however it is not suitable for those people who are looking of a cheap place to stay while holidaying in Dubai. It is not easy to get to Dubai from here! The area around the hotel is very crowded and dirty so if you're looking for a peaceful getaway think again! People fight to get taxis in the area but the hotel is good at getting meter taxis for you. It did take 3 hours to get back from Dubai in the rush hour traffic which lasts from about 4pm-10pm. There is not much to do in Sharjah so it might be worth spending more money to actually stay in Dubai.

Basic but very friendly hotel on bustling Rolla Square in the heart of Sharjah's "little India". You can eat out for peanuts in the immediate viscinity. The Al Sharq offered a choice of 3 breakfasts in the mornings. We had an early flight one morning so the staff organised breakfast for us before the restaurant was officially open. We hired a car and parked next to the hotel (very handy) and visited Dubai, the drive there was 20 minutes (but it took an hour and 40 to come back in the traffic). I'd recommend the Al Sharq as a budget stay for a weekend in the UAE. Remember to switch the water heater on in your room or there won't be any hot :o)
