For the price I paid I think it was fully worth it. If you are only looking for a place to sleep at night go for it! Receptionists were very helpful. One problem I had, but not a big deal, was locating the hotel as it is amongst all the vendors on China street.

It's a budget hotel, and you get what you pay for - not a lot! The rooms are "cosy" but you only need it to sleep right? The staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is great (use the back entrance if you want to avoid the markets). I stayed there twice during my recent visit to KL and would stay again if budget is my priority.
Situated beside the Chinatown market the hotel is difficult to get to by taxi after mid-day. Petaling Street is gradually taken over by the market stalls so you cannot get to the front door - best get dropped at the end of Petaling street and walk to the hotel. Rooms are functional and reflect the low price. Bathroom doubles as a shower. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a genuine 'shabby chic' vibe to it.

Free breakfast , free wifi - as discussed was not mentioned in my booking. No phone in room made me run to reception for talking on phone. Taxi can't reach in front of hotel ( Taxi had to go at the backdoor of hotel. Breakfast was too simple ( coffee,tea, bread, butter, jam and rearely fruits. But hotel is value for money. Rooms are tiny. A/C effective. Location is within 5 min walking of a local train station. Market is closeby too. Would stay again if room phone, free wifi, more TV channels are provided - may be at another RM 5-10 /day extra.
Our first day there was met with dirty and sticky floor. But once house keeping had a chance to clean it up, it was tidy and neat. Facilities were extrememly simple, but we were happy with the ability to watch world cup for free, even if we had to go to the lobby.
Perfect location and a lovely clean room, very good for the price we paid. Only down side was the washing service was quite expensive and they told us they weren't sure of the price beforehand when we asked. Other than that a very good basic hotel with friendly staff.
