Alamanni hotel, in the heart of Florence just to a step from Art Charming 3 stars Hotel, located at the second floor of a modern building to the borders of the historical center, near the Central Station of " Santa Maria Novella" (5 minutes walking slowly), the Palace of the Conferences, the Fortress "Da Basso" and only few minutes walking from the Historical Center. The Alamanni Hotel, has 17 rooms + 2 Suite with private services furbished with Carrara’s marbles. Rooms are equipped with shower, hair dryer, TV sat color, minibar, telephone with direct outside line, WI-FI in all rooms, air-conditioned or heating with self control panel. Executive rooms includes free of charge: minibar’s drinks and bisquits, WI-FI in the room, car parking, fax service, local calls and rooms service. Our company owns and managed also studios/apartments located within 1 block from the main hotel, check on our availability and room descritpions for major details and conditions. The staff of the Alamanni Hotel are willing to help in supplying whatever type of tourist information and service of reservations format Staff are trained to make the guests feel comfortable and pleasant whilst staying in Florence. The Alamanni Hotel serve buffet breakfast, available from 7:30am to 11:00 am. For reservations with room only possibility to have breakfast only for 7,00 eur per person all included. Internet point 0,10 cents per minutes, WI-FI connection 15 Eur per lenght of stay.

Getting there:We are close to the Station of S.M. Novella right side exit skillful to continue along the railroad to number 35, with the car from Motorway A1 exit FLORENCE NORTH to follow indications for center city / "Porta al Prato" and finally for Station FS SMN, to feed Street Jacopo Da Diacceto, after Hotel Londra turn on the left slowly and to N° 35 there is the entrance also for the Alamanni Hotel. In airplane, every half hour the bus of the SITA connects the airport with the large square of the station of S.M.Novella or the more comfortable way are the taxi.
Check-in Procedure:ONLY for Studios and Suites, all arrival and departure operations MUST be made at the Hotel's reception, our Studios Apartments are located within only 1 block from the hotel, CHECK-IN TIME AFTER 3pm - CHECK-OUT BEFORE 11am, possibility to store luggage at the Hotel. All booking for Apartments/Studio must be paid at arrival time, No refund for change or early departure. 50 EUR deposit is requested for key's deposit.
Car parking:For the Guests who arrive by car, the Alamanni Hotel have limited car spaces in the Hotel’s below garage, therefore we suggest guests to advise hotel staff member or to be stated within booking reservation. Parking cost of Euro 20,00 for one day (0/24). Same policy and availability for Apartments and Studios.
Child Policy:Children up to 5 years old free of charge if sleeping on parent's bed.
Efficient and well run little operation. Staff very helpful and informative. The annex is beautiful and quiet, no sound while in centre of Florence. Excellent value and ideal location, walking distance to everywhere.
It was a nice enough apartment with cooking facilities, but the room was dark, full of very strong cigarret smoke smell (although there was a warning on the back of the door which says £250-1500 penety if anyone smoked there!!!). The heater did not work at all in the bedroom so we had to relay on the small heater in the bathroom to keep warm. The location and price are good but there is very basic service - the reception is somewhere else in a differnt building, so checking-in and out were difficult.
We stayed at the small apartment which was spacious, clean and had a nice kitchen stocked with utensils. One problem we had was with the bathroom. The shower area had no shower tray and was close to the door. When we took shower, water flooded into the bedroom. The hotel offerred unlimited Wi-Fi Internet for 15EUR, but only at the hotel building, not at the apartment, which was a block away.
Got a studio in the residential area, liked the oven a lot. Convenient for people who want to cook their food if don't want to go to resto all the time. The room is rather small, and the service is just so so. No soap or toilet paper offered if we didn't complain about it. In general, I like the facilities, but the service is not above the average.

Had an apartment/suite close to the Alamanni hotell and railway station. Was nice, clean and spacious in affordable price.
Great location to the railway station. Very friendly staff both the male and female. Breakfast ordinary however was included in the price. very easy to find. Only a few minutes from the railway station walking.
Air condition not working, apartements located near were noisy. Matresses very bad. People at hotel were nice.

The hotel is not located in an attractive environment in Florence i.e. close to the train station, second floor of a building, the building being not very clean, ......
Good overall hotel. Kind of small - which is the norm in italy I found out - but other than that, quite liveable.
Quite small rooms, but very clean and quiet. Location is central and near the main station. Everything in the historic centre is within walking distance.

Our stay in a studio apartment was outstanding value. Management helped us immensely with credit card and passport problems. Cannot recommend this hotel more highly.
This was the BEST place we have EVER stayed in Europe. The bedroom was HUGE, and the kichenette had a sink, oven, stove, and dishwasher, and was ALL perfectly clean. There was even a nice kitchen table to sit and eat. The bathroom was large and spotless. It was a 3 minute walk from the train station. I would recommend this to qnyone traveling in Florence. Perfect stay!
The staff are very helpful. Its a 10 minute walk to most attractions and is very clean.
The rooms were spcacious and very clean. All hotel employees were very friendly and breakfast was well prepared.
