Alatai Holiday Apartments Darwin offers affordable studios as well as two and three bedroom self-contained fully-equipped units. The apartments are built in a courtyard setting, combining an oriental and tropical theme. The features include a swimming pool, and barbecue surrounded by palms, tropical flowers and sweet smelling shrubs. Located in the heart of Darwin’s CBD, the Alatai is close to all city facilities. Just a few minutes downhill will take you to the beach, botanic gardens, Mindil beach night markets, casino and golf course. A short stroll will take you to the general post office, city mall, shopping centre, cinema, city attractions, nightspots or to Port Darwin. Many of Darwin’s other exotic attractions are just a short trip away by bus, taxi or as part of one of the many organised tours that are available daily.

Getting there:
Alatai is also conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport. Take a taxi or hop on one of Darwin's city bus shuttles outside arrivals, departing every 15 minutes.

Check-in Procedure:
Reception is open from 7am to 9pm during low season only. Night Duty Manager will assist with all after hours check ins and requests.

Car parking:
Plenty of on-site, outdoor and undercover carparking for apartment guests.

Child Policy:
A rollaway bed is available for an additional $20 per night. A cot is available for an additional $10 per night.

HotelClub, thank you for providing me with the opportunity to comment, your internet service is excellent, I was able to find a hotel and get the services that you provide. But I believe that you should screen your hotels better before you let them join your fine service. I spent four days at this hotel. The room had an insect problem, the front desk weekend staff were rude. I requested a late checkout, because my plane was not leaving until that evening they granted me a half hour extention, from 10am to 10:30am. As soon as 10:30 came I was in the lobby and they requested my key. I was literally invited out of the hotel. I honestly believe it was because I was African American, as I did not see any of the other guest treated this way. please do not recommend this hotel to me again!

Basic but perfectly adequate accommodation well equipped for cooking our own meals and centrally located - withing easy walking distance of the CBD, Botanic Gardens, Golf Course and Mindel Beach. Air conditioning effective and very quiet - hardly knew it was on. Good under-cover parking also, so we mostly left the car and walked. Good price, helpful reception, and reception open 24/7 which helped as our flight out left at 1.30 am. The red-eye special!
