"We stayed in the Alba Hotel for 3 nights and the service was fantastic. The staff were friendly and attentive and the room / food were first class. The location is literally 5 minutes walk (with cases) from the train station - don't take a taxi as we were charged €10 by a reluctant taxi driver. The hotel is within walking distance of all the other attractions in Florence. The room had air conditioning and an electronic safe. We'll definitely stay there again. " - alan cormack

Getting there: By train:
Arriving at the central s.m.n you can easily reach the hotel by foot; exit from the station on the right side, to "via s. Caterina da siena" and at the crossing light turn to the left, you'll find hotel after 100 metres on the left side

By plane (florence airport "amerigo vespucci" ):
The florence airport is located just 3 miles from the centre of the town and from hotel alba.you can take a taxi (approx 15 euro) or the city shuttle bus, it departs every hourto the sita bus station (200 meters from our hotel) at the cost of 3 euro

By car :
You have to follow the direction to the central railway station s. Maria novella (you have to come from porta al prato and then via jacopo da diacceto) . When you have the station on your left side, turn right to via santa caterina da siena and after the traffic light turn left to "via della scala". You'll find hotel alba after a little bit more than 100 metres, on the left side of the street.
Car parking: Everywhere inside the centre of florence parking is reserved to the resident people that have a special permit to be shown on the car.
The hotel Alba offers a garage co-operation at a daily cost of 21,00 euro, to be paid separately from the room bill. The car will be taken and delivered at the hotel, without any extra charge.
