"For a city which is a nightmare of twisting alleyways; a hotel which is first left in throught he Porto Novo gate and 50m down the road was a blessing, especially as it had car parking. Most Evora hotels need you to park outside city gates and walk in - check guidebooks when booking. Hotel description:    This charming and intimate hotel was a 16th century olive oil mill for the neighboring convent. It is perfectly situated within the ancient walls surrounding the city of vora. We have 20 rooms and 3 suites all with air-conditioning, marble bathrooms and flat screen cable tvs. We have free wireless internet throughout the hotel and a computer for guest use. Private parking is complementary. We also offer breakfast in bed and customized minibar.
Our breakfast is served with organic or locally-grown products. In our inviting bar and courtyard you can enjoy a glass of regional wine and tapas.

Getting there: From Lisbon take A2 South and exit onto A6 vora.
Exit the A6 on the vora exit.
Once in vora look for one of the main entrances to the old city: Porta Nova.
