"Beautiful road. Neighbourhood both junks, young people and people like us. If you walk easily the Walk to the city is a nice walk except for the beginning (and the end). Taxi (I believe) 15 AUD. Albert & Victoria Court - a small historic boutique hotel - whose charming terrace house dates from 1881, is centrally located on quiet, leafy Victoria Street in elegant Potts Point; the ideal base from which to explore or do business in Sydney. It is within minutes of the Opera House, the Central Business District, Oxford Street and beaches.
Friendly and personalised service is offered in an informal atmosphere and amidst Victorian charm. No two rooms are alike; most have marble fireplaces, some have four poster beds and others feature balconies with views over National Trust classified Victoria Street.
All rooms are non-smoking and have private bathrooms, hairdryers, air-conditioning, colour television, radio-clock, coffee/tea making facilities and direct dial telephones. By car from the South and airport, take the Eastern Distributer and leave at the City exit. Turn right into William Street and on top of William Street turn left and then left again into Victoria Street.
From the North, after crossing the harbour, take the exit to Vaucluse and turn left into William Street and on top of William Street, left into Victoria Street. From the West, drive straight up William Street and then left into Victoria Street |
