Enjoyed our stay in the Alessandro Villa, Staff were very nice and the room was small but sunny and very pleasant. Extremely convenient location close to Ternes and Charles de Gaulle metro stations and only 10 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. Would definitely recommend.
The only problem with this hotel is the size of the rooms. We are both average size people but found there just wasn't enough room for us and our luggage. Bathroom size was fine.
Good location, friendly staff, english-speaking. Narrow rooms. Interesting food-market just outside the hotel. Breakfast-buffet was poor. Don't waste money on it.
Room was smallish, but comfortable. While we requested a "double" the room had twin beds, made up separately and pushed together... having said that, though, they did allow us to check in at 9am after coming straight from the airport, so we didn't complain. Location is excellent, about 5 mins walk from the Arc de Triomphe. Staff spoke English and were very welcoming and helpful - special mention for Jean-Baptiste at front desk.
This hotel was rated 4 stars, but is more a 2-3 stars. Location was good, easy walk to Metro as well as Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. No on-site amenities or vending machines, close to a local street market for genuine French feel. Best attributes were helpful bi-lingual staff.
We were very disapointed with the condition of the bed linnen, only the bed and towels were changed every morning. Thr room and bathroom were never cleaned or swept in the three days we were their. I asked reception for a secong drinking class and was told they didnt have any !!!
Great location for shopping (both markets, food and clothing). Friendly and helpful staff.
This hotel is ideally situated for viewing this magnificent city. A nice hotel but most definitely not a four star, rather a two star. It's absolutely fine it you're just needing a place to sleep/shower and it's spotless. The soap was very slow to be replaced so make sure you bring your own toiletries. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
Wonderful location, nice clean brightly-decorated room and good breakfast (14 euros extra.) The only real downsides were the thin walls which meant the hotel was a little noisy - although we found earplugs a good way of tackling this - and the hotel's own parking which was too narrow for our car. We had to use a public car park nearby at 36 euros a day. But these weren't serious, we'd recommend the place and would use it again.
excellent customer service
Great location.. just a couple of mins walk fro the Arch de Triumph. Staff were helpful. Good value for money. Large room. Would stay there again.
My sister and I travelled to Paris for 3 nights. The location is very convenient and very close to the metro. Service was 24hrs and great, everyone spoke english and was very helpful. The room and bathroom were clean but very VERY small....which is do-able for a short period of time or if you love being within very close proximity to your travelling partner!
Very good location, ok service. Stayed only for weekend.
Lovely. comfortable hotel. Well located and nice and peaceful. Would stay again.
Staff were very helpful, especially as there was an issue with our booking. Excellent, convenient location, with lots of easy access to food, bars etc, and a characterful market in the nearby street. I would go back!
Exellent location, nice clean place, friendly staff I will stay again. Only downside is no aircon.
The location is excellent and the hotel quiet. The room size was okay for France. Breakfast was expensive and avoided. Hint when using taxi's be aware that in France they charge you for the distance from where they come to where they pick you up. Better to use taxi's from ranks. Also at this hotel they seem to have a deal with a particular taxi owner who doesn't take a credit card - so ask before you get in!
The hotel was brilliantly located with street markets around the corner a smorgasbord of fresh produce, bread, meats and cheese. Hotel was close to metro and close to Champs Elysee. Staff were helpful. Room small but very clean We would definately stay there again. Very good value.
Wireless internet did not work as it was ´broken´ but we got the feeling that this was the case for a number of months as there was no ETA on when it would be fixed. Beautiful markets just around the corner and an organic shop across the road.
We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, fresh food markets and supermarket close by and the Arch de Triomphe was a short walk.
